Cash4Trash Fun Facts

• Cash4Trash (aka Gaia Purge) was created on October 20, 2015. idea
  
  
• In the first two month of the Purge (Oct-Dec 2015), around 7,000 items (from roughly 50 different Gaians) were trashed or sold-back to Gaia. emotion_jawdrop
  
  
• On December 31, 2015, the first Purge Appreciation Raffle Drawing was held (P.A.R.D.).
  
  
• On January 25, 2016, I decided to dedicate my account to fully reflect on my quest to Purge and changed my username from Shalaela to Cash4Trash. emotion_awesome
  
  
• In the early hours of May 6, 2016, a fatal error occurred as part of the (Cash4Trash) original forum (Purge-ticipation list) was deleted - so the current forum was made to fill the void. emotion_facepalm
  
  
• On May 12, 2016, I was asked about a quest banner by user "Neziar" and quickly began to work on a banner for others to help share my quest. emotion_hug
  
  
• Cash4Trash Look-a-Like/Tributes/Cosplays section was added on June 13, 2016 for people to have fun dressing up like me!
  
  
• P.A.R.D. 2.0 - was held on June 15, 2016 - the same day Cash4Trash Fun Facts was added. heart
  
  
• Purge Patrons section added on July 1, 2016 to recognize anyone that has donated time, gold, or items to the Purge! emotion_bigheart
  
  
• Record for Most Purge-ticipants in a Month: 103 during July 2016!
  
  
• (Cash4Trash) the GUILD was created on August 26, 2016! 3nodding
  
  
• (Cash4Trash) had to close temporarily on October 2, 2016 for 3 days to catch up on Purges (for the first time ever)!! emotion_facepalm emotion_bandaid
  
  
• October 20, 2016 marked the begining of the One-Year Purgi-versary Celebration - which lasted till midnight on October 31!!
  -- There were 6 different games and a total of 31 participants! emotion_awesome
  
  
• The second ever (Cash4Trash) Guild event launched on Friday the 13th, January 2017 - scheduled to run till the end of Jan.
  -- 4 of the 6 games from the first event made an epic return with a record breaking 49 participants!
  
  
• Third major guild event: Spring Cleaning - Purge-athlon launched on April 1st 2017 and was extended to run through the end of April.
  
  
• (Cash4Trash) Gaia Purge was retired on April 21, 2017 after 1.5 years of service, over 100,000 items trashed, and over 450 Gaians helped. blaugh

Purge Milestones
(I decided to separate these from the other "Fun Facts" to make it all a little more organized and easier to see how far we all have come - again this is one of those things that I wish I kept a number count on sooner..)

• Reached 200th Purge-ticipant on June 22, 2016! wahmbulance
  
  
• Total of 30,000 items Purged as of June 23, 2016! burning_eyes
  
  
• Up to 250 Purge-ticipants on July 11, 2016!
  
  
• Total of 40,000 items Purged as of August 1st, 2016! emotion_jawdrop
  
  
• Reached 300th Purge-ticipant on August 9, 2016!!
  
  
• During the time frame of August 24-27, 2016, a total of 45,000 items Purged was reached!
  (I got behind on purging so I am uncertain when the date was.) redface
  
  
• Reached 50,000 items Purged on September 12, 2016! eek sweatdrop
  
  
• Reached 55,000 items Purged on September 28, 2016! burning_eyes
  That's 5,000 items in a little over 2 weeks - an average of 10 full trash trades a day!
  
  
• 60,000 items Purged reached on October 18, 2016! emotion_awesome
  
  
• Reached 65,000 items Purged on November 24, 2016!
  
  
• We recorded our 400th Purge-ticipant on December 9, 2016!!
  gonk ...then I removed all of the users that "no longer exist" and it dropped the Purge-ticipation total to 373 (which is two Purgers less than the total was on 10/25)
  
  
• Reached 70,000 items Purged on December 13, 2016!
  
  
• 75,000 items Purged reached on December 31, 2016! emotion_awesome
  
  
• 12:00am Friday, January 13, 2017 - Thanks to the super ambitious last minute efforts of Blacklacekitten, Ehkko, purple_lily4466, & Prodigal trailblazer we hit the 80,000 items Purged mark prior to the event kick off!
  
  
• 85,000 items Purged as of January 26, 2017! That's 5,000 items in a little more than 2 weeks!! (And I currently am WAY behind on my end of the arrangement - by like 2k items left to purge.) rofl
  
  
• We recorded our 400th Purge-ticipant on during the month of January 2017!!
  
  
• Hit 90,000 items Purged as of February 15, 2017! Once again that is an average of 5,000 items in a little more than 2 weeks - but I'm staying caught up this time!
  - The guild is also nearing its 300th member at this point!
  
  
• Just reached 95,000 items Purged as of March 10, 2017! NEARLY TO 100K!! wahmbulance
  
  
• The (Cash4Trash) service purged it's 100,000th item in the early days of April 2017!!
  
  
• We recorded our 450th Purge-ticipant on during the month of April 2017!!
