                    Challenge #1: You’re A Gem
Designers, welcome to your first challenge for Cycle 7!
To help us get to know you better, you’re going to dress your model up as
your birthstone. You can make them the embodiment of the birthstone, you
can just dress them as the colors, draw inspiration from the season, etc. But
the judges shouldn’t be left guessing what your birthstone is. Bring your
personality out! Give us some fun facts! This is a challenge to get personal on.

                    nyphente — Sunny 65%
                    Style: 5Motif: 6Creativity: 7Description: 8
Comments: I like that there is more in this description, but I still could have used
more about who nyphente is. Maybe I'm just greedy like that. I like this look, like
that this is the second December look but feels distinctly different from the first.
I almost wish there was more joy to Sunny? Also wish if wings were going to be
referenced they would be larger and more prominent and not just a part of the
head crown/piece because they don't read like wings there.

                    Endless Endeavors — Jae 67.5%
                    Style: 6Motif: 6Creativity: 7Description: 8
Comments: Number one feedback is going to be for shorter descriptions. I like the
passion and creativity, definitely told us things about himself. But I don't need
all of that. I think more attention could have been paid to the look itself rather
than that descriptive story. The arms get kind of lost in the red which isn't awful
but isn't great either. The dress also doesn't really read kimono and makes for
some weird proportions. Idk guys, maybe this look just isn't for me. Love the
concept and the spirit of it, just not the actual look. Jae's head/face feels almost
plain compared to everything else going on. I think even just a touch of blush
would have gone a long ways.

                    Arielso — Marilou 75%
                    Style: 6Motif: 7.5Creativity: 8Description: 8.5
Comments: Love hearing so much about her! Love another Libra girly! I respect
the creativity of wanting to do a different take on opal/channel the white base
with flecks of color. That being said...it is a very white look. And I'm not sure it
looks that great on Marilou. I also totally thought it was a large coat until she
mentioned a bustle. So the white on white also just makes it hard to see all
the fashion details. Marilou definitely draws the focus and doesn't fight with
the background. Almost wish it was more street wear.

                    Eziara — Delilah 32.5%
                    Style: 5Motif: 7Creativity: 8Description: 5
Comments: I...don't know about this. I couldn't find the tanzanite that Ez seemed
to find as the inspiration for December's birth stone. I do like the creativity of
picking tanzanite though. These colors do look good on Delilah, but I think there
is just too much going on. The body is so covered and contained that her hair
looks like it is floating rather than actually connected. North Star vibe is nice.
Face additions are a little odd. Cheeks look almost more dirty than anything,
and the nose is kind of orange? And the description told us absolutely nothing
                    about Eziara.

                    torimani — Mathilde 75%
                    Style: 7Motif: 8Creativity: 5Description: 10
Comments: It might be reckless to give a score of 10 in any category this early
on, but I don't think there is anything more that could have been given to me in the
description so I rewarded it, haha. While this look is similar to her audition look, I
get why after reading the description and I respect it. I also do appreciate the nuanced
differences torimani was able to achieve. I wish there was a slightly different color
or filter on the background to create some depth behind the "throne" and dimension
behind the crown. Or even a slightly different color of the throne to make the
dress/Mathilde stand out as well. But for the first look? Proud of tori.

Sleepy Luna Moth — Tara 85%
                    Style: 7Motif: 9Creativity: 8Description: 10
Comments: I love this look. A fall look, in warm colors!, is such a pleasant change
after so many looks ended up being so similar. Tara is pretty. The white sleeves
are a little heavy but I think it's a good thing. The wings are subtle but help set Tara
apart from the background. Sleepy's history in the competition is clear in the
description. Really love that she saw the issues her "typical" stone was having
and found others. Worked it out. Would have liked more to separate Tara from
                    the background though.

                    John — Moxie 62.5%
                    Style: 7Motif: 8Creativity: 4Description: 6
Comments: I like this! John did reach out to ask me about things like leg mods
and I said they were allowed, but in feedback this week I might remind that this
is a fashion competition and doing mods like this tail remove a lot of that element
and thus are a risk. Not sure it really paid off enough either. I totally get Pisces
and aquamarine. Could have used more creativity, and more from the description.
I want to see more uniqueness, and more of John in future looks.

                    J810Princess125 — Solveig 80%
                    Style: 8Motif: 7Creativity: 9Description: 8
Comments: There are some things I really like. Using multiples of the floating fish
item in varying shades to add dimension, same with the Chasing Swells item, is a
really smart choice. LOVE that she used horns on Solveig since she isn't just a
March baby but is an Aries baby. As much as I like the fish, I wish she had strayed
from all the water and done more with the Aries influence. Would have stood out
more from other looks and been more unique. But I really love that after reading
about her necklace and the charms, I see that influence in the look. And this is a
fantastic look, I keep seeing new details every time. I wish there was something
dark on the bottom to balance the lips.

                    Lucqi — Bobbi 0%
                    Style: 0Motif: 0Creativity: 0Description: 0
                    Comments: sad

                    immortaljelly — Vanity 81.25%
                    Style: 7Motif: 7.5Creativity: 8Description: 10
Comments: At first glance, I didn't super love this one. It's a lot of dark, kind of
flat, and I couldn't pick any immediate gemstone. I still think I want more of a
difference between the background and Vanity so they weren't fighting for space,
but after reading the description I'm kind of obsessed. More splashes of red or
maybe removing the gold would have helped? Or having the gold spread out
as well. I like the choice of scars. Looooove the addendum/sources cause I'm
a nerd that loves learning new things.

                    kaekie — Willow 90%
                    Style: 8Motif: 8Creativity: 10Description: 10
Comments: This is a good entry, one of those ones that I love more and more
as I look at it. STELLAR description. Maybe a little long but for this challenge it
is perfect. There is so much connection and tells me about Kaekie, love it. Love
talking about all the greens used to create the look and energy of peridot, this
really gives me high expectations for what is to come. And while I am truly in love
with how the face looks, I do think there might be a little too much on the eyes
and the shape is a little bit changed.

                    SoggykittenART — Olivia 61.25%
                    Style: 6Motif: 6Creativity: 5Description: 7.5
Comments: Positive note, I like the formatting of this! It's a pleasant entry to look
at. There is a lot of empty space though. Not sure we need all that. I really
like getting to know more about Soggy, playing with the leap year birthday and
incorporating it into thing the way she did was really cool! A little wordy at times,
but still cool. However. Leg mod is very pale, and I don't like the lavender sparkle
on the face. Not sure it was needed? But also looking into things more the legs
and the dress are all one item. Definitely loses some points for creativity.

                    xXAcid_FreeXx — Emerson 66.25%
                    Style: 7Motif: 5Creativity: 7Description: 7.5
Comments: WOOOO FELLOW OCTOBER BABY LET'S GO!!! I can't express how
excited I am by having a look that does my birth stone justice. Pairs well with her
hair, and love the description talking about Contra Luz opals. Description is a fun
story but I don't know that I need all that. Especially when the story paints a clear
image of being on a beach at sunset and then the moon rising and it just...wasn't
quite what it became. I get it, I do, but picking one of many backgrounds that was
just a beach at night would have been so much better. Emerson would have stood
out more and there would be more dynamic. Everything blurs too much like this.

lucifer eats pizza — Tamara 72.5%
                    Style: 7Motif: 8Creativity: 5Description: 9
Comments: I don't like the arm mod, it is oddly puffy and just not a good shape
to the silhouette. But the aquamarine color and Pisces influence definitely comes
through the design but I don't really get much about who Lucifer is. Honestly the
description helps, but all it tells us is what/who they aren't. I want to know more.
This is a strong first look though, I like the outfit, it goes together really well even
though it is all different pieces.

                    Challenge #1: You're A Gem
Designers, welcome to your first challenge for Cycle 7!
To help us get to know you better, you’re going to dress your model up as
your birthstone. You can make them the embodiment of the birthstone, you
can just dress them as the colors, draw inspiration from the season, etc. But
the judges shouldn’t be left guessing what your birthstone is. Bring your
personality out! Give us some fun facts! This is a challenge to get personal on.

                    nyphente — Sunny 66.25%
                    Style: 7.5Motif: 5Creativity: 6.5Description: 7.5
Comments: Sunny looks like a beautiful fairy, and in terms of just the aesthetics I do think it's one of the stronger, more cohesive entries this week. The colors are definitely giving icy, wintery vibes--the scheme Nyphente chose here actually reminds me a lot of December's other birthstone, blue zircon. Where this falls shorter for me is in the motif: while Sunny does look like a lovely little spirit, I think the outfit reads very spring-y. Would have loved to see some furs to lend to the winter vibes, maybe a lantern to hammer home the "guiding light" aspect brought up in the description. Description was solid; maybe bordering on a little florid in spots, but overall well-composed and helped me connect to some of the details (like the butterflies) a little better.

As a side note, the image quality is definitely a little crunchy. I might refer her to Dame's guide as some of the little sparkly details are really hard to read with the compression!

                    Endless Endeavors — Jae 72.5%
                    Style: 6Motif: 6Creativity: 9Description: 8
Comments: Jae really radiates power here! While I have some nitpicks with the styling, I think EE was the one of the most successful this week in the "tell us about yourself" aspect of the challenge. His passion for creative writing really comes through in the description, and I do get a very cinematic feeling from his entry. That said... after this challenge, I think the description will need to be a little less story-oriented. I want to know more about how he landed on this concept, what went right, what went wrong, etc. While I don't agree with all the stylistic choices, I do think this is one of the more creative entries this week. Love the color choices; red, gold, and black is always an impactful combo. The supposed kimono influence is falling a little flat for me (they really do need the iconic sleeves IMO), but also to be fair, despite Gaia's roots as a weeaboo website, a lot of the "kimono" items are terrible representations of the real deal so it's not a hill I'm dying on this week. My biggest critique is that Jae's face reads very flat and structureless compared to the rest of the look. I think even just a nose would have helped create some definition, but like a little dab of red eyeshadow or something would have been faaaabulous.

                    Arielso — Marilou 32.5%
                    Style: 5Motif: 2Creativity: 3Description: 3
Comments: So, I actually love the outfit that Ari designed here. It feels cute and spunky, the birthstone is clear, and I do get the streetwear vibe. But... it feels so disconnected from the background. Like girl you should NOT be wearing that to go caving! Overall I get the sense that Ari focused too much on the birthstone aspect of the challenge and not enough on making it feel personal. The description really isn't doing much for me and feels more like an collection of fun facts that should have gone to the intro thread. Ultimately it leaves me with more questions than answers. Why streetwear? Why the cave? What makes this personal, other than representing opal?

                    Eziara — Delilah 52.5%
                    Style: 4Motif: 5Creativity: 6Description: 6
Comments: I think going with tanzanite for December was a wise choice here, as the colors chosen are lovely with Delilah's complexion. I appreciate the creative interpretations Ezi took in representing both the stone and the season--it is giving me slightly witchy, magical vibes! That said, I'm really lost on the silhouette of the outfit; in particular whatever is going on in the skirt area. There's something funky going on with the layering there that makes it hard to read where the outfit ends and the background begins. Same for the arm mod--I feel like Delilah's hands have disappeared and there's just a bunch of ambiguous shapes in the torso. I'm a little disappointed, as a returning designer I know Ezi can do better than this.

                    torimani — Mathilde 75%
                    Style: 8Motif: 8Creativity: 6Description: 8
Comments: Mathilde is giving mermaid princess here and I love it. The outfit feels well-composed and stylistically consistent; it's a nice balance between structure and details. I know the description mentioned wanting to keep the background simple, but I do think even a very light filter could have helped to elevate this entry in both creating a better sense of depth and lending to the tone that Tori wanted to set, as I'm not really getting the melancholy queen vibes with the vivid colors everywhere. Similar to EE, I think a tiny bit of makeup would have also helped here in giving some structure to Mathilde's face. I don't think it would've had to be blue, which I do agree can be kind of a ghastly eyeshadow color! That said, these nitpicks are minor, and I think this is a solid first entry between the looks and description.

Sleepy Luna Moth — Tara 70%
                    Style: 7Motif: 8Creativity: 5Description: 8
Comments: As a fellow lover of Harvest Moon (now Story of Seasons) games, I have to admit I'm quite tickled by Sleepy's entry. I think that the "nostalgic video game goddess" look comes through clearly with the styling. It's a simple look, but executed well, and I think the choice to move away from the Autumnal scheme was smart. The mix of oranges looks lovely on Tara, and I do get very fall vibes from the colors chosen--they're both vibrant and cozy all at once. This might have been an instance where hiding the equip list would have been beneficial, as really the only detractor for me here is that I can see how few items were used compared to some other entries, and I could have easily been fooled into thinking this look was more complicated to build without it! Description is nice and succinct; I got exactly what I needed from it.

                    John — Moxie 72.5%
                    Style: 7.5Motif: 8Creativity: 8.5Description: 5
Comments: Mermaid Moxie! <3 Leaning this hard into a sort of "fantasy" element for this challenge feels like a bold choice, but you know what? I dig it. As John said in his description, this look is maybe a little on the nose for a March Pisces... but as a fellow March Pisces (along with Tori and Madison, we are legion!!) I can't be mad at it. The description promised ethereal space mermaid, and that's exactly what this is. However, unlike Tori's description about her love for her birthstone and sign, and thus using that as inspiration, I'm not really getting the same personal aspect here. Like, are you linking Pisces to the moon because you're also into astrology/tarot stuff? I think that angle could have been played up more, if that were the case. As for my style critiques: the flowers in the mermaid tail feel a little incongruent with the theme; I think a different item might have served this better. Also, the eyeshadow feels too deep and heavy for how light the rest of the look is, and I find it a little distracting.

                    J810Princess125 — Solveig 71.25%
                    Style: 7.5Motif: 8Creativity: 9Description: 4
Comments: Of all the aquamarine entries, I feel like Rosey took the most unique approach with her look. I'm obsessed with this color combo--the gold alongside the aqua blue is so regal and stunning, and I love how Rosey tied it back to her sentimental necklace. I happen to know already that aquamarine is supposed to be a protective charm for seafarers, which I'm pretty sure is informing a lot of this look, but I wish the description focused a more on the thought process for her styling decisions, as what we were given feels a little flowery and roundabout (plus there's some spelling mistakes and weird grammar choices that I'm having trouble overlooking). The horns make sense for representing Aries, but I'm left confused by the floating fish in the background and think they should have been nixed.

Comments: I don't want to be too reckless with handing out 10's this early on, but of all this week's entries I think Steph has earned them. I'm really digging the creative approach of choosing the less-traditional March birthstone, which is, in my opinion, not the prettiest rock out there, and still finding a way to make it work. These colors are lovely on Vanity, and she is looking fierce in all senses of the word. This is as perfect as a description gets for me: providing research and context where needed, and then clearly explaining the designer's intention and approach. Despite struggling to connect to the theme, I think Steph really succeeded in making it feel personal and authentic. Truthfully I don't have much in the way of constructive critique to offer here, but I guess if anything, the gold accents feel very concentrated at Vanity's torso and I would have liked to see just another little pop of it in a different spot. Maybe a diadem or something to bring some color up to her head? That might just be personal preference though.

Comments: Kae had an extremely strong audition, so it tracks that she's given us a really fantastic entry right out the gate. I'm really enjoying her approach to depicting her gem; the celestial angle works better for me here compared to some other entries. Maybe in part because of how well it's backed by the description? It does a fantastic job delivering the overall concept, and once again I'm pleased by the research shown, but personally I wish it delved into the styling choices of the outfit just a little more. Background is gorgeous and well-composed and helps those greens to really pop. I'm feeling slightly conflicted about the greens in the bodice area being a tinge cooler-toned than the rest of the outfit, and I'm a bit torn on the butterfly clips when the concept here is supposed to be a star being. These are extremely minor nitpicks however.

                    Style: 5Motif: 4Creativity: 6Description: 3
Comments: This is a bit of a weaker entry for me. The gem influence is clear, and I think the 'bones' of the outfit are good. I wish the pinkier-toned purple in the headpiece and brooch showed up in another spot somehow; it kind of sticks out to me as feeling a little disconnected as-is. Inverse from some other entries there is WAYYYY too much going on in the face area for me. I really don't like this choice of nose, something about it reads like... sickly and irritated (plus it adds some freckles, which I'm p sure is a no-no in the mod guidelines). She looks like she needs some tissues. Description feels too vibes-based without really telling us anything about the look. I'm not sure I'm getting "Leap Day" and "ageless beauty" from this; it just reads as a fairly standard fantasy/magical girl look.

Comments: The stronger of the two opal entries for sure! The colors are bang-on, and I appreciate that there's a few schemes mixed in instead of leaning too heavily on Opalescent. Another very pretty background, and the overall composition is pleasantly balanced. I maybe could have done without the hip ribbon to allow more of the pretty cape to show through with the posing. This nose item has been a popular pick this cycle it seems, but I'm not sure I love it with Emerson's features... it makes me a little too aware of the nostril somehow? But if this is the one she wants to go with, maybe it'll grow on me with different makeup looks down the road. Description is fine; like EE's entry the story aspect does help me understand the concept behind the look. It gives me nostalgia for like... 2012 era Tumblr fashion shoots. That said, going forward, I want to see more of Acid's thought process rather than cute stories about Emerson. I would have liked to know more about what makes this personal beyond being an October baby!

Also feel like the image quality on this one is slightly fuzzy somehow, but I can't tell if I'm imagining it or not.

                    Style: 6.5Motif: 7Creativity: 7Description: 5.5
Comments: This one is very middle-of-the-road for me. It's a serviceable look for conveying aquamarine, and I like the underwater shoot concept. As with Rosey's entry, I think the gold accent color is lovely (I don't remember the submission order, but I think Madison here may have done it first?) and I like the sprinkling of the deeper gem tones throughout the torso and head. I am bugged by the layering and placement of the crown items; I would have picked one or the other or tried to find a different combination that blends them a little more seamlessly. Once again, I like the story for explaining the idea behind the concept, but I'm really missing what makes this personal... unless we're supposed to assume that Madison is passionate about ocean conservation. Even just a sentence saying so would have made me want to give more points for description, but as it stands this feels more like a story about Tamara and less about the designer.

**•̩̩͙✩•̩̩͙*˚˚*•̩̩͙✩•̩̩͙*˚* Challenge #1: You're A Gem **•̩̩͙✩•̩̩͙*˚˚*•̩̩͙✩•̩̩͙*˚*

☆═━┈┈━═☆

✩ nyphente — Sunny 62.5%
Style: 6 • Motif: 6 • Creativity: 6 • Description: 7
Comments: I think this is a very cute look, and I enjoy the fairy angle nyphente took.
And while I like the look itself, I feel like it could be more wintery, it gives me more of
watery/space vibes. Similarly, I feel some kind of dissonance in the look itself and the
description. I definitely feel the tranquillity and quiet strength, but I see no "restless
energy to explore,". I think, maybe, a winter explorer outfit could've been more fun?
The outfit is pretty, but it feels quite boring. Almost everyone did the same - flowy
gowns, lots of jewels.

And the image looks very low quality? For some reason?

☆═━┈┈━═☆

✩ Endless Endeavors — Jae 66.25%
Style: 6 • Motif: 6 • Creativity: 6.5 • Description: 8
Comments: This is definitely a great colour scheme that works wonders for Jae!
I really like her hair accessories. The outfit itself is really nice, but it didn't register
to me as a kimono until I read the description. I am also not too fond of the arm
mod EE used; it feels too busy. I wish he had opted for something less intense or
just some long sleeves.
Jae's face looks weirdly flat because of the lack of makeup. I feel like a simple nose
mod, blush, or even eyeshadow would've helped with fixing it.
I am also personally really not into the background EE chose. I see the vision, I just...
don't like it.

☆═━┈┈━═☆

✩ Arielso — Marilou 45%
Style: 6 • Motif: 2 • Creativity: 4 • Description: 4
Comments: I actually like the outfit a lot, and the colours Arielso chose; the colourful
accessories work nicely as a way of showing light bouncing off the gemstone. I like
all the ruffles, but I think this outfit does not fit the description at all. It looks more like
some version of decora instead of, I dunno, cave explorer. Why did she go to the
caves in such a fancy getup?
The description also feels like it's lacking cohesion. Overall, it's a good outfit, but the
whole idea behind it is flawed.

☆═━┈┈━═☆

✩ Eziara — Delilah 40%
Style: 4 • Motif: 4 • Creativity: 5 • Description: 5
Comments: I think this colour scheme works well for Delilah and her intense hair.
Her whole outfit gives off a magical, witchy vibe, which is really fun. I think the
biggest issue for this design is actually the funky things going on with the layering.
Is it just me, or are the model's hands gone? Overall, it's hard to find where the outfit
starts and the background begins. Delilah feels more like a floating head than a full,
cohesive outfit.

☆═━┈┈━═☆

✩ torimani — Mathilde 72.5%
Style: 7 • Motif: 8 • Creativity: 6 • Description: 8
Comments: The mix of colours torimani chose is perfect for Mathilde, it suits her
features perfectly. I like how you get aquatic vibes without Mathilde being a mermaid.
I adore the water goddess/princess look! I also adore the reference to The Birth of
Venus.
Even though it's somewhat similar to the auditioned look, the description perfectly
explains why tori chose to do so. And she still managed to make a different look,
which should be applauded.
I would've liked it if Mathilde had some makeup, at least some eyeshadow. Her face
area lacks a bit of the chosen colours, it feels a little too plain in comparison to the
rest of the look.

☆═━┈┈━═☆

✩ Sleepy Luna Moth — Tara 67.5%
Style: 7.5 • Motif: 6.5 • Creativity: 5 • Description: 8
Comments: A very nice, if not very complex, look. The warm palette looks great on
Tara and suits her to a tee. It clearly conveys a harvest goddess. My biggest gripes
would be that her face looks a little flat, and the fact that I can see the equip list. I
feel like the equip list really kills all the magic of the outfit, it looks like it's made out
of many more pieces than it really is.

☆═━┈┈━═☆

✩ John — Moxie 75%
Style: 7 • Motif: 8 • Creativity: 7 • Description: 6
Comments: Oh, this one is definitely one of my favourites, design-wise. I like the
fantasy angle and the colour balance of blues and whites with Moxie's dark hair
and complexion. Aesthetically, this is one of the stronger entries, but there's barely
any personal angle in the description. I wish John had written a bit more about his
thought process, why he chose certain items over others, and more about himself
overall. I also feel like a different shade of eyeshadow would look much better, the
dark blue does not suit Moxie at all!

☆═━┈┈━═☆

✩ J810Princess125 — Solveig 70%
Style: 7 • Motif: 8 • Creativity: 8 • Description: 5
Comments: I am surprised how much I like this look, the colour palette works
surprisingly well with Solveig. I really like how the focus is on a protector angle
instead of another mermaid. And as a big fan of armoured ladies, I greatly
approve! I actually like the fish, but I wish the background was a bit different,
maybe instead of a tropical background with trees, just some sky? It would make
the fish seem like they're swimming in the air, which would've been cute. I also wish
there was a bit of the darker blue somewhere else on Solveig, on the face or maybe
the head.
I also would've loved to know more about Rosey, but she really skipped on writing much
about herself. She lost a lot of points on the description alone!

☆═━┈┈━═☆

☆═━┈┈━═☆

✩ immortaljelly — Vanity 92.5%
Style: 8 • Motif: 9 • Creativity: 10 • Description: 10
Comments: Another strong lady, and gosh, does Vanity look great! immortaljelly had a
great insight to choose bloodstone over aquamarine. I wouldn't be happy with another
fish girlie! I also loved reading about the history of the gemstone and immortaljelly
themselves. My biggest nitpick would be that there could be a little bit more going on
around the head or pants, like some hair accessory, a belt or chain. But still, it's a great
entry nonetheless.

☆═━┈┈━═☆

✩ kaekie — Willow 91.25%
Style: 8.5 • Motif: 8 • Creativity: 10 • Description: 10
Comments: I really love the description kaekie wrote for this entry, I can see a lot of
thought and heart went into it. I do wish there were a bit more going on with the outfit.
It's really cute, but I think something is missing around Willow's legs for me? Or maybe
the arms. I just feel like it lacks a little bit more of an interesting shape/pose. It's still
really pretty and competent, of course. I do love Willow's makeup here, and the
background looks so cool. It's definitely the best take on the space/galaxy out of all the entries.

☆═━┈┈━═☆

✩ SoggykittenART — Olivia 40%
Style: 5 • Motif: 5 • Creativity: 4 • Description: 4
Comments: This is a nice look, but it's really nothing too special. And I feel like the colours
don't work well for Olivia, or maybe it's just the overuse of makeup? I wish the nose wasn't
so dark, it looks so off. It makes me think she had a close encounter with a wall and broke it.
Another thing, I feel like instead of so many different effects, they could've just used a filter to
make Olivia's eyes less contrasting with the colour scheme.
The description is nice, but also feels very... cryptic? Like they chose aesthetics over actually
telling us something about themselves or more about their thought process...

☆═━┈┈━═☆

✩ xXAcid_FreeXx — Emerson 72.5%
Style: 8 • Motif: 7 • Creativity: 7 • Description: 7
Comments: I like how this outfit isn't another long gown, it definitely feels more like a model on
a runway. I also appreciate the use of a few different colour schemes instead of sticking to one.
The look is very solid, but I feel like it's lacking something special. I cannot really pinpoint what,
but it feels like it's missing something. I like the story, but I would've liked it even more if there
were less creative writing and more of Acid's thought process or personal information.

☆═━┈┈━═☆

✩ lucifer eats pizza — Tamara 61.25%
Style: 6.5 • Motif: 7 • Creativity: 6 • Description: 5
Comments: I love the idea of an underwater shot and how the outfit looks like it's flowing
in the water. But I do not like the crown being laid over the hand and part of the shawl,
which makes it really hard to focus on other parts of the design. I am also not too fond of
the body jewels that are such an intense shade of blue. They feel like they don't match at all.
The description really lacks some personal touch from lucifer...

                    Style: 8Motif: 2Creativity: 6Description: 8
Comments: I Like this entry but my main issue is it doesn't read Turquoise at all.
Out of all the gems turquoise is the only one that is not transparent or translucent at all. Its a very solid stone in color and its slightly more green than the blues used here(color is a minor gripe).
It also tends to have natural black/brown/cream marbling and I'm just not seeing it. I think Sunny looks great but it missed the mark for the challenge because I would never have assumed this was Turquoise.
Which is disappointing because it is such a unique stone to choose.

                    Endless Endeavors — Jae 90%
                    Style: 8Motif: 10Creativity: 10Description: 8
Comments: As a fellow Ruby I knew without reading a single one of those many many sentences what gemstone this was.
This one shouts Ruby but its so nice because he didn't just make her red all over the gold and black accents with the black/gray background really balance the look for me.
Now as I said he wrote a ton but I loved knowing that he drew his inspiration from a game about bringing color back to the world.
Which also made the background being black make sense from a story telling perspective. I think its great he has so much to say but I think he can let the outfit speak for itself just a tiny bit.

                    Arielso — Marilou 57.5%
                    Style: 3Motif: 7Creativity: 6Description: 7
Comments: I like this entry conceptually. I think its nice she went with solid white and accented the color onto the outfit I like the street wear style I don't feel like anyone else did that so it was a nice direction to take it in.
I do feel like its a lot of white but mostly only because we completely lose her arms in the white on white detail. and each item has so many ribbons and panels that don't really add much but clutter.
The white needed just a little something to break it up more transparency or more color?
The description is fine idk what else I would want but its neither affecting my opinion positively or negatively.
Its not terrible but its not impressing me a ton either.

                    Eziara — Delilah 72.5%
                    Style: 6Motif: 9Creativity: 7Description: 7
Comments: I have to say this and explain I am not docking points but why is she all the way to the right its so hard to look at the design when its all the way over there away from the text.
That said I think this is the best Delilah has looked so far.
Ezi nailed the colors here. It feels gem-like.
The one major drawback is I can't find her arms. she looks like they stop just below the shoulder and don't reappear. and I personally don't love the veil.

                    torimani — Mathilde 65%
                    Style: 4Motif: 7Creativity: 6Description: 9
Comments: I'm frankly underwhelmed by this design. Its not too similar to the audition but I just am not feeling a lot of the aspects here.
Tori is coming back from last cycle and she did some good designs then and I just feel like this isn't the quality of work I was hoping for.
I understand the water theme but aquamarine didn't have to be so literal especially after we just saw her in a frankly better water look.
I hate the clam shell its fighting for attention with the dress and its hard to see some of the details as they blend into it.
I think the crown looks tacky and it just sits so high up it almost looks like its not even on her head? like its floating there? idk.
Tori said the blue eyeshadow wasn't working and I get that but Mathilde needs some blush or something to liven her face up.
I think the dress itself is nicely constructed and I like the touches of green and purple.
But I hate the clam shell

Comments: I really like what sleepy did here Tara looks lovely in these hues.
I think it was smart to go brighter with the oranges to avoid washing Tara out a paler model might have worked with the autumn color scheme but I'm glad sleepy could see that it wasn't going to work.
I love the details which are all nice and visible the white sleeves give the outfit relief and help distinguish the silhouette.
Sometimes it feel like sleepy crops the image too much and we loose the bottom of the look making the dress cut off a little weird.

Comments: I think the execution here is pretty solid. He went with a water theme as well for aquamarine.
I like that he also made it space so that it wasn't just another water themed look.
I think the background here is very well constructed and still allows for us to read the outfit completely.
There are a lot of added face/makeup items which normally I think wouldn't be good as they would obscure the models base features but somehow it reads as not altering her much at all.
not sure how I feel about that.
I need more about his design choices the description painted a story but I feel like I want the meta commentary on his choices.

Comments: I think this look is really strong. I love the feeling of an elemental gem knight.
I love that the title is BG3 reference and knowing the character she is quoting this look feels perfectly on point! I think the horns were a smart way of distinguishing the entry from the March Pisces really adding the Aries flair without it being a huge focal point.
I love that Rosey really showed that she can differentiate herself from the pack.
I'm impressed with the way she layered like items to get the exact colors where she wanted them that is not an easy way to build a look and it works so well I couldn't tell until I looked at the item list.
Description needs how and why its just not quite enough and I wanted more personal info.

Comments: I don't dislike this look but I feel like its not enough.
The background is made of so many parts but it still feels one note and has no depth. and the teal is just over powering the whole thing I really wish the background color was something different.
I still like the warrior vibes and I like the color combinations I think its a very cohesive look.
But nothing feels exciting about it. I think the strongest aspect was the description.

I will say the skirt has some odd layering but It really doesn't bother me because the whole look reads so well.
I love the blend of greens it can be hard to have that many shades in one look but I love it and I think the image of the Peridot in meteorite really matches what she made!
I just think this is a great first entry and the description is perfect.

I don't think she's quite there but I do love this look.
Only complaint is I wish she had added some blue and green sparkles to play off Olivia's eyes. or maybe so other element to pull it all together.
It feels Amethyst to me. I also liked the description.

Its giving opal so hard and I'm such a nerd because I know all about Australian opal and Acid working that fact into her story for the look just is everything to me.
I will take off a point in creativity because so many items are simple the opal color scheme but it isn't much of an issue because the whole concept is executed so well.
I already said I loved the knowledge used in the description but in general I need more about Acid and their process here.

                    Style: 7Motif: 8Creativity: 8Description: 5
Comments: I think Tamara looks very pretty. I like the underwater concept. I like the flow of things but the sash clips under the crown in a really obviously not right way.
I like the main outfit but some of the details are a tad blurry when I try and look close at it, but it still has good distance read.
Needs more to the description not enough information about the creation of the look.

This is a challenge to get personal on.

nyphente — Sunny 58.75%
(Total Score: 23.5 pts.)
Style: 7.5 • Motif: 4 • Creativity: 5 • Description: 7
Comments: I'm captivated by this entry! Sunny gives off an
ethereal elven vibe, which I love. Very much up my alley. However, knowing
the color of the December birthstone, the colours don't seem turquoise to me;
they appear more, as Picaru stated, like blue zircon, due to the outfit's
sheerness and shade choice of blue. While I appreciate the concept, I'm not
fully convinced about its connection to nyphente's birthstone. Nonetheless,
Sunny looks beautiful.

Endless Endeavors — Jae 70%
(Total Score: 28 pts.)
Style: 6 • Motif: 6 • Creativity: 6.5 • Description: 9.5
Comments: Talk about information overload. I do enjoy the
content but would like a more summarized description in the future from EE.
Jae's outfit has potential and, for what it is, is pretty, but it lacks a key
element of where they drew inspiration for their outfit, the kimono sleeves.
Even kimonos in games feature the sleeves. That aside, I love the black
background, accentuating the richness of the red outfit. And the headpiece is
ornate and gorgeous.

Arielso — Marilou 62.5%
(Total Score: 25 pts.)
Style: 5 • Motif: 6 • Creativity: 6 • Description: 9
Comments: I can tell you right away, love the concept for the
outfit, but it doesn't suit Marilou. I don't think the fabric choice was the right
call for the opal birthstone, and to an extent, the excess fabric does swallow
up Marilou up. I think there are better ways to exude whimsy than this. That
said, the description is nice. Lots of information, but it's not too much to read.
I'm loving that we get to know Arielso in this manner.

Eziara — Delilah 81.25%
(Total Score: 32.5 pts.)
Style: 8 • Motif: 8 • Creativity: 9 • Description: 7.5
Comments: I'm impressed that Ezi kept Delilah's tanzanite
colour scheme vibrant yet tasteful. Delilah looks like she's the only celestial
goddess. The tanzanite's pleochroism property gave Ezi many colour options,
and she chose perfectly. Maybe a touch more personality in the description
department would be nice, personally, but, all in all, this is a solid first effort
entry.

torimani — Mathilde 85%
(Total Score: 34 pts.)
Style: 8 • Motif: 9 • Creativity: 8 • Description: 9
Comments: Seeing the shell, I immediately clocked the
reference to The Birth of Venus. Something about blue on Mathilde just looks
so regal and elegant, and this shade choice for the colour scheme amps up
that feeling. The outfit just exudes royalty. Mathilde looks like a water variant
of Elsa. In terms of description, tori got it right, in my opinion. It's up there
with Soggy's as well. Kudos to you, tori. You ate this challenge up.

Sleepy Luna Moth — Tara 82.5%
(Total Score: 33 pts.)
Style: 8 • Motif: 8 • Creativity: 8 • Description: 9
Comments: Sleepy's got her description correct. I'm into it.
The outfit is just as solid as her description as well. Like Acid's, Sleepy has
clean layering, which is always pleasant to see. 50/50 on the white fabric
around the arms with the sheer, but that's personal preference on my end. I
also would've loved to see bigger wings just so I can see it better. But, all in
all, Sleepy's getting better and better significantly over time, and I'm excited to
see her fully blossom.

John — Moxie 72.5%
(Total Score: 29 pts.)
Style: 8 • Motif: 8 • Creativity: 7 • Description: 6
Comments: Moxie looks ethereal. She reminds me of
KATSEYE's Manon as the sea monster in their Monster High M/V. Maybe a
lighter color to buff out the darker blue eyeshadow would be nice to see, but
Moxie looks incredible. Description-wise, much like lucifer, outside of their
birthstone, there isn't much more about John. Lacking personalization in the
description, for me.

J810Princess125 — Solveig 82.5%
(Total Score: 33 pts.)
Style: 8 • Motif: 8 • Creativity: 9 • Description: 8
Comments: Loving this Valkyrie take on Aquamarine. It still
has water elements to it, but it's not straight-up just aquatic, compared to the
other Aquamarine entries. I'm into the balance of the blues, whites and golds.
It's giving soft and strong. Brave, yet gentle warrior, is what Solveig is giving
me. Solid description, as well.

Lucqi — Bobbi 0%
(Total Score: 0 pts.)
Style: 0 • Motif: 0 • Creativity: 0 • Description: 0
Comments: NA

immortaljelly — Vanity 97.5%
(Total Score: 39 pts.)
Style: 9 • Motif: 10 • Creativity: 10 • Description: 10
Comments: This entry has that perfect blend of embodying
their birthstone, while also incorporating their personal flair, which reflects the
gemstone's personality. Vanity looks so chic and valiant. Near-perfect
description from immortaljelly as well. Maybe a bit of shortening would be
nice, but that's personal preference on my end.

kaekie — Willow 97.5%
(Total Score: 39 pts.)
Style: 9 • Motif: 10 • Creativity: 10 • Description: 10
Comments: I'm gonna sound like I'm kissing kaekie's feet
everytime, but, this entry is perfection for me. The outfit does not have the
grandest silhouette compared to everyone else's, but it's the most detailed out
of all of them. It's such a beautiful garment that kaekie created for Willow.
What puts this over the edge is that the description tells me everything I need
to know, yet leaves me wanting more. There's touches of kaekie's culture
(our culture, might I add), which is always nice to see. This is everything to me!!!

SoggykittenART — Olivia 73.75%
(Total Score: 29.5 pts.)
Style: 5.5 • Motif: 8 • Creativity: 6 • Description: 10
Comments: Right off the bat, I see a bodymod for a dress.
While still a cop-out, it's better than grayworm's. I love the matching armmod
sleeves and accessories. Not the most creative garment that I've seen, but it's
rather solid. Soggy's description is one of the best—short and informative,
giving a glimpse of everything without excess. I'm into this entry.

xXAcid_FreeXx — Emerson 80%
(Total Score: 32 pts.)
Style: 8 • Motif: 8 • Creativity: 8 • Description: 8
Comments: This is a solid entry. Love the clean layering of
Emerson's outfit. It's bright and iridescent without being oversaturated to the
eyes, which is pleasing to see. I love the cute backstory that comes with the
description, and the description as a whole is good. Love the choice of opal
variant for Emerson. Overall, a good start for Acid.

lucifer eats pizza — Tamara 62.5%
(Total Score: 25 pts.)
Style: 7 • Motif: 7 • Creativity: 6 • Description: 5
Comments: The amount of jewellery on Tamara makes her
look expensive. I love the underwater photoshoot concept; it adds movement
and life. However, a different legmod could better convey Tamara floating, as
she currently seems to stand on the coral. The description lacks just a tad of
personalisation for me. I need more about lucifer. Share more about
yourself. A more detailed description would be helpful in this challenge.

Challenge #2: They See Me Rollin’
Designers, you’ve survived the first challenge!
For this week you have a world of possibilities and freedom at your fingertips!
You can go for any theme, style, color, time period you want. However, you
must include a transportation item in the look. Now how you interpret
transportation is up to you, but I’ve included some guides here and here to help get you started.
For this challenge we’re going to say that the transportation you use can’t be
alive and should have at least two wheels. Have fun!

                    nyphente — Sunny 55%
                    Style: 5Motif: 6Creativity: 4Description: 7
Comments: Of the motorcycle looks, this one was played the most straight. It's definitely giving biker chic, and there's nothing wrong with the look... it's just a bit too on the simple side. Better execution than some of the other "straightforward" looks this week still, I think there's a good balance of visual interest in the outfit and atmosphere in the background. It's fine! Just nothing special.

                    Endless Endeavors — Jae 88.75%
                    Style: 8Motif: 9Creativity: 9Description: 9.5
Comments: Love this. I feel like EE really nailed the spirit of the challenge, and I love that he put a bit of a creative twist on what could have been a very straightforward streetwear/skating entry. These colors are just *chef's kiss* on Jae. I appreciate that EE can implement feedback well, the description is MUCH better this week. And more detail in the face too! I do agree with Bae's feedback that I think Jae could really use a nose... while it isn't required, there's something about her face that just feels flat and pancake-y without one. Love the texture in the background, but if I have to nitpick anything it's that the area left of Jae's face feels a little empty, and with vaporwave being perhaps one of THE aesthetics that encourages pointless additions wherever possible, I think it could have been pushed further.

                    Arielso — Marilou 35%
                    Style: 2Motif: 3Creativity: 1Description: 8
Comments: Oh man. From the description I do get the sense that Arielso had a clear vision and that there is intent behind this look, but... with so many other entries with creative slants this one was played both too safe and too straight. Is it accurate to skater fashion? Yes. But it's not particularly fashionable, either. Gaia has plentiful beanies and waist-tied flannels that could have been used to add visual interest and still keep on the theme. I see there's a note that this was completed on 9/2... I don't submitting early was beneficial, as this could have used a LOT more time to cook.

                    Eziara — Delilah 83.75%
                    Style: 7Motif: 8.5Creativity: 8.5Description: 9.5
Comments: I think this look is very charming and it's a HUGE step up in my book from the first challenge. I was able to pick up on the vintage circus vibes immediately even before peeping the description. Love this vibe for Delilah, I think it works well with her features and it's a fun, whimsical direction for this challenge! That said, the build does seem on the simpler side compared to some other entries this week, but what is there works well and reads cohesively. I think part of me wants there to be a little more detail in the outfit compared to the background, which has a lot going on and could have been simplified a little bit. Description is solid enough, love that the inspo was shared, but it mentions purple and gold accents to match the bike... I see the gold, but I'm not getting purple anywhere in the outfit or the bike which is a little confusing. (If it's supposed to be the socks, they're reading as more of an offblack to me...)

                    torimani — Mathilde 80%
                    Style: 7Motif: 8Creativity: 8Description: 9
Comments: Of the two vaguely sci-fi biker entries, I think Tori pulled it off better this week. I haven't seen Mad Max, but I've absorbed enough through osmosis that I can get that that's the vibe here! I think the outfit is fine. I'm not swooning over it, but there's nothing like... glaringly wrong? I can't really put my finger on it. Maybe the hat and jacket are both just a bit too bold and matchy-matchy with each other... hat could have been black, maybe. That said, Mathilde does look like a certified badass and moving away from the rocket look was a good choice.

Sleepy Luna Moth — Tara 45%
                    Style: 3Motif: 4Creativity: 5Description: 6
Comments: Sorry Sleepy, this one really isn't doing it for me this week. I love cozy looks and I do enjoy the color palette used, but there's a lot in this entry that feels like it needed reworking. Biggest thing for me is the sweater + leg combo is creating a really odd proportion, and it reads to me like Tara forgot to put on pants or a skirt or something because I can't unsee that item as sheer lace tights. The sweater and scarf also blend in together way too much; going for a more vibrant color for one might have worked better, as I'm also losing Tara against the background toward the middle of the image. The black bag feels stark and out of place with the rest of the color story... especially since it also draws my eye directly down to the shoes, which look like they're a navy blue that also feels weirdly incongruous with everything else. The description this week feels like it's taken a step backward from Sleepy's first entry, suffering from Too Much Story like some entries last week. Like, it's cute and all but I wish there was more emphasis on the technical aspects. Odd choice to have that part under a spoiler. I recall this being posted on the earlier side; I think more time could have been utilized on a detail pass because it honestly feels rushed to me.

                    John — Moxie 88.75%
                    Style: 9Motif: 8.5Creativity: 8.5Description: 9.5
Comments: Fabulous outfit; Moxie is looking absolutely fantastic this week! From the challenge title I had a feeling that someone was going to use this exact background, and while it's maybe not the most inherently creative choice, I think it's well-utilized here. Much better description this week, with more expansion on his thought process and some of the personal flair I was missing with the first challenge. I wish there was just a little more info about the look, but I must say I'm very tickled to hear about a chicken named Gurgi. Overall love how detail-rich the outfit and makeup are; only detractor for me is that Moxie's torso area feels a wee bit cluttered and it's harder to parse what's going on there.

Side note, I feel like we should make a note that including the earlier build/alt looks is a risky move, even under a spoiler... I happen to prefer the final build since the pose is clearer against the car, but there was a brief moment where I was looking at the two and thought "dang the jacket look is cute, why didn't he submit that?" I feel like if designers want to share scrapped builds, it should be kept in the chat thread so it poses less of a risk of influencing the judging ninja

                    J810Princess125 — Solveig 73.75%
                    Style: 6Motif: 7Creativity: 7Description: 9.5
Comments: While not the best execution style-wise this week, I gotta say I really enjoyed that Rosey is exploring different aesthetics for Solveig instead of pigeonholing her into "tougher" looks. I love how rich the background is without competing for attention against Solveig, the colors used in both are very strategic in that manner. That said, I'm not digging this combo of dress over pants; I feel the dress is the wrong silhouette to go over a slightly baggy trouser and the sash sticking out is distracting and doesn't feel intentional. An apron and blouse might have been a better choice for layering, but if dress-over-pants was a must-have for Rosey this week I think something less fit-and-flare would have worked better. I might have gone with a slightly different tone for the hat--more of a traditional straw color maybe--as it's a lot of cream concentrated up top.

                    nenone — Bobbi 76.25%
                    Style: 8Motif: 7Creativity: 8Description: 7.5
Comments: Love love love the color story here! Everything feels candy-coated, and I have a hella sweet tooth. I feel like this sort of style is an intriguing choice for Bobbi (of the current lineup, she doesn't come to the forefront as a model to lean into a ~kawaii~ vibe with) but it oddly works here? It's giving nostalgic magical girl anime vibes. I think with so much of the outfit obscured by the Vespa and the very rich, colorful background I would have liked to see a little more detail given to Bobbi's face to help her stand out just a bit more--even just a punchier blush or sheer eyeshadow might have helped. Description could use a little work; it feels like it's struggling with Too Much Story as well. I wanted more from the "Designers notes" section AND for that segment to not be hidden under a spoiler.

                    immortaljelly — Vanity 62.5%
                    Style: 5Motif: 4Creativity: 7Description: 9
Comments: I really appreciate that Steph tried to go with an inventive angle here, but tbh this entry feels like a bit of a swing and a miss for me. Maybe I'm just not scifi-pilled enough to fully appreciate it, but man, some of the ideas she pitched in her description sounded so fun! I think a local food truck would have been just as creative and maybe easier to execute effectively. I don't hate what's here, but it doesn't feel like... fully fleshed out or super intentional? I don't really get "futuristic" from the outfit outside of the bike, even just a cool goggle or like cyberpunk eyepiece might have helped. Vanity's head area feels really empty. IDK, the description helped a lot to get me on board with what is here, and I think it's better to take a creative risk and have the result be a bit of a flop, but I feel like this needed some workshopping.

                    kaekie — Willow 80%
                    Style: 8Motif: 8Creativity: 8Description: 8
Comments: Kae's entry here is another fantastic use of color! Warm, muted pastels are so up my alley, and I get the hazy, painterly vibe with the filter. I see the inspiration for this entry very clearly after peeping the music video that was shared. The outfit is simple, but cute and well-constructed and I have no qualms with it... but after reading the description it almost left me feeling like the outfit was secondary to the setting. There is no doubt that Kae is an extremely talented designer, but this being a fashion competition, I want to hear more about the inspiration and process for the OUTFIT as part of the description. Like yes, I would describe this outfit as soft and quaint... but idk, is that really all there is to it? I just want a little more meat in that department. This is VERY minor, but I'm also torn about the leaf item in the foreground. At a glance it almost looks like it's supposed to be part of the wheelbarrow and Willow is sitting in a leaf pile, but then it clips over her legs and blocks some of the pose and throws me off.

                    SoggykittenART — Olivia 95%
                    Style: 9Motif: 9Creativity: 10Description: 10
Comments: Soggykitten really stepped it up this week, and this look has left a strong impression on me. As I learned during my cycle, creating period-accurate looks on Gaia is REALLY hard, and the styling/textures here are impeccable. Love all the colors in the final look; they're a nice contrast to Olivia's features while still feeling overall harmonious, and the softer/dustier tones give it that nice antique-y feel. Another instance here of critical info being hidden under a spoiler!!! I really wish designers would stop doing this, but ultimately I received the info so I'm not going to let it affect my score even though I am tempted to dock points for it on principle. Could have left out the scrapped build image as well and just left the text; as with others, including it is a risky choice. Overall love the creative direction and interpretation of this challenge. Only minor critique is that the silver necklace (?) thing bugs me a bit; it creates some weird inscrutable texture in the neck area and color stands out too much against the rest of the look IMO. I think there are plenty of other items that could have been chosen that might have worked better, but I see the intent and the rest of the look is so good that this is not a huge detractor. Also took a point off in Motif for lack of visible wheels, even though I know they are implied with the train.

                    xXAcid_FreeXx — Emerson 77.5%
                    Style: 6Motif: 7.5Creativity:7.5Description: 10
Comments: This is a cute look, but the more I look at it, I'm not feeling particularly wowed. There are some parts that are well-done--I think there's some creative stuff happening with the background to compose the roller rink--but I think the fashion element could have been pushed a little more. I like the colors, they work well on Emerson, but I can't help but feel the Sherbert scheme was leaned on a little too heavily. It almost feels more costume-y to me than a carefully curated outfit? I think I would have liked to see some creative retro-inspired color blocking rather than slapping the rainbow gradient everywhere. Still, I appreciate the vision and trying out a type of wheels that no one else went for! Description is good, I got a clear sense of the process and intent. I'm grateful that in this case of spoiler usage, it was the narrative aspect that was hidden rather than the process, but tbh I still wish people would just not used them for anything but the equip lists LOL

Side note, image quality is still lacking crispness for me. Not sure what's going on there or if others notice it at all?

lucifer eats pizza — Tamara 56.25%
                    Style: 7.5Motif: 4Creativity: 6Description: 5
Comments: I'm having some mixed feelings about this entry. The outfit itself is adorable and well-composed, and it's very reminiscent of the sort of Japanese street fashion you used to see in FRUiTS magazine, which I really dig! But... the bright and cutesy outfit is in very stark contrast against the background that Madison created here, and I'm not getting a lot of harmony from the look overall. The description tries to pitch the outfit as cute and flirty to complement the "romance of the setting," but with the dominant background color being gray, I'm more getting "dingy parking lot" from it. The mismatched greens in the fence/grass patch are also standing out to me in a bad way. With a more robust description I could have maybe been swayed on some of these choices but there's not really a lot for me to go off of in there as it stands. In the brief segment explaining her thought process, Madison focused too much on what she didn't do with this look rather than what she did.

**•̩̩͙✩•̩̩͙*˚˚*•̩̩͙✩•̩̩͙*˚* Challenge #2: They See Me Rollin’ **•̩̩͙✩•̩̩͙*˚˚*•̩̩͙✩•̩̩͙*˚*
Have fun!

☆═━┈┈━═☆

✩ nyphente — Sunny 70%
Style: 7 • Motif: 7 • Creativity: 7 • Description: 7
Comments: Badass Sunny is not something I expected, but I like it! Though
there are a few things I am not so fond of, like the colour of Sunny's goggles.
Why red? I don't see any red anywhere on her... Next, the smoke? Puff cloud
from her cigarette, I think. It looks really weird, mostly because the image is tiny
and very crunchy. Because of that, it looks like there's a piece of mold stuck to her head-
Other than that, the colours are nice, the makeup is cool, and Sunny gives off somber vibes.

☆═━┈┈━═☆

✩ Endless Endeavors — Jae 87.5%
Style: 9 • Motif: 8 • Creativity: 9 • Description: 9
Comments: Honestly, an amazing entry by EE. I love the colour scheme,
the vaporwave aesthetic, the retro vibes. Her outfit is so fun, colourful and
surprisingly matches Jae really well. Honestly, the only thing I can moan
about is that I feel like Jae's makeup is kinda lacking? Her face feels a little
flat, I think, possibly because she lacks a proper nose mod? Also, no
spoilered designer notes in this entry!

☆═━┈┈━═☆

✩ Arielso — Marilou 35%
Style: 3 • Motif: 4 • Creativity: 3 • Description: 4
Comments: I like Marilou's makeup, I like the hairpins, but it's such a boring
entry. Marilou looks so generic, static. There's no real fashion in this entry, it
feels like Arielso just threw a few generic items on Marilou and called it done.
The pose is so boring, she's just standing there! I feel like it would've been
better to choose any other vehicle and make a more interesting entry than
using that skateboard item. It looks especially boring in comparison to
Endless Endeavors' entry.

☆═━┈┈━═☆

✩ Eziara — Delilah 86.25%
Style: 8 • Motif: 8.5 • Creativity: 8.5 • Description: 9.5
Comments: Delilah is rocking the circus vibes. She looks perfect in this outfit!
It's such a big upgrade from the previous challenge. The description is so cute,
I love the layout Eziara cooked for us. My biggest issue with the look are the
purple leg stockings and bottoms, I wish they were either offblack or there was
a little bit more purple included in the outfit. Maybe near the hat or the neck?

☆═━┈┈━═☆

✩ torimani — Mathilde 57.5%
Style: 5 • Motif: 6 • Creativity: 6 • Description: 6
Comments: I have mixed feelings about this entry. I remember the previous
spaceship entry, and even though it didn't have any wheels, I liked it much
more than this one. Mostly because I was able to see more of Mathilde, right
now she's merging with her motorbike. Well, I do like the parts I can see - the
coat, makeup, the guns. It's an entry that had a lot of potential, but the vehicle
is the weakest part of the entry.

✩ Sleepy Luna Moth — Tara 40%
Style: 4 • Motif: 4 • Creativity: 4 • Description: 4
Comments: Tara's outfit is so cozy and warm-looking, I really like the scarf
and the doggy companion. Now onto the negatives: the design is quite
uninspiring, and the colours don't match anything. Too many colours,
patterns... Tara's face also looks very flat to me, I see little to no makeup.
ALSO ANOTHER DESIGNER NOTES SPOILER. STOP IT!

☆═━┈┈━═☆

✩ John — Moxie 82.5%
Style: 8 • Motif: 8 • Creativity: 8 • Description: 9
Comments: I love the colours John chose, Moxie looks gorgeous in pinks.
Though the sunglasses are a little too purple-pink, but that's a minor issue.
I like the reference to Final Fantasy and chocobos, though the little chick/duck
kinda clashes colour-wise. I also prefer the version under the spoiler to the one
John went with. The pose is clearer without the jacket, but I think I just prefer the
dynamic pose and the additional pink jacket offers.

☆═━┈┈━═☆

✩ J810Princess125 — Solveig 75%
Style: 7 • Motif: 7 • Creativity: 8 • Description: 8
Comments: The superior flower truck entry, Rosey chose much better items for
Solveig than Sleepy did for Tara. The colours are all different, but they feel like
they match, the background is somehow perfect for the look. And I love soft and
girly Solveig, most would expect her vehicle to be something "punk", a motorcycle,
car, or maybe a skateboard. And I like her hat!
I think it would look even better if Rosey used a bit more makeup on Solveig's face.

☆═━┈┈━═☆

✩ nenone — Bobbi 75%
Style: 7 • Motif: 8 • Creativity: 8 • Description: 7
Comments: This is such an adorable look, and I love the fruit-colored palette.
The biggest issue is that the image is small and the outfit is hidden by the
vehicle. I wish I could see a bit more, and I wish Bobbi had a bit more makeup
on her face, even a little more blush!
Designer notes shouldn't be hidden; they're one of the most important parts of
the entry.

☆═━┈┈━═☆

✩ immortaljelly — Vanity 55%
Style: 5 • Motif: 5 • Creativity: 6 • Description: 6
Comments: I like the idea of going for a sci-fi setting, and I do like the chosen
colour scheme. But I remember the previous version of immortaljelly's entry,
and it was so much better, and the other vehicles didn't cover/merge into the
model. The outfit itself is nice, and I do like that we had a bikeless version
included. But I do not vibe with these pants, the brown is so striking, and there
are no other items in that shade of brown. Still, it's a weaker entry from IJ.

☆═━┈┈━═☆

✩ kaekie — Willow 86.25%
Style: 8.5 • Motif: 8 • Creativity: 9 • Description: 9
Comments: Another solid entry by kaekie, I really enjoy that it's based on a song
kaekie loves. It's cute, flowery, soft - just plainly adorable. However, I don't like
the makeup that much. The cheeks are too rosy, which makes me think that Willow
is drunk or has a cold. I also don't vibe with the dark filter, but maybe it's just a
personal preference.

☆═━┈┈━═☆

✩ SoggykittenART — Olivia 96.25%
Style: 10 • Motif: 9 • Creativity: 10 • Description: 9.5
Comments: I adore this look and the idea of a model travelling in a steam engine.
SoggykittenART managed to capture the spirit of the Victorian era with her design;
it's just perfect. I honestly don't know what to talk about, I love everything about this
look - the colours, the outfit, how Olivia's eyes pop, the pose, the description with a
letter... It's just a 10/10 for me. My only complaint is that, of course, there's a spoiler
that includes some additional thought process from the designer. Stop with the
spoilers, babes. ( ; ω ; )

☆═━┈┈━═☆

✩ xXAcid_FreeXx — Emerson 52.5%
Style: 5 • Motif: 5 • Creativity: 6 • Description: 5
Comments: I like the sherbert colour scheme on Emerson, I like the rollerskates,
but I dunno. It feels somewhat disconnected from the background? I hate how
empty it looks, it does not feel like a club, but some liminal space. The pose is
quite boring as well, I think there could be something more interesting going on
with her arms.

☆═━┈┈━═☆

✩ lucifer eats pizza — Tamara 56.25%
Style: 7.5 • Motif: 5 • Creativity: 5 • Description: 5
Comments: Tamara's outfit is so cute, I really like the colours and the little clovers.
However, I feel like the background and the bike colours are too dark to work nicely
with the design itself. Also, the background adds so many more shades of green to
the image. I feel like something softer, pastel, would've been a better choice.

Have fun!

                    nyphente — Sunny 61.25%
                    Style: 7Motif: 7Creativity: 7Description: 3.5
Comments: I'm glad we have a bike look where we can see the whole look, and I think it is an
appropriate one for the bike. There is a surprising amount of make up on the eyes and more with
very little pay off? Not mad at it just a curious observation. Description really doesn't do anything
for me. I know nyphente needed an extension and had life going on, but still. Also what purpose
does the Roseus Diamond Dog item serve in the look? When there are items that really don't add
to a look I wish they were left off so more time could be spent on descriptions. I did have to zoom
in to see some of the details in the top since it's a lot of dark on dark.

                    Endless Endeavors — Jae 85%
                    Style: 9Motif: 9Creativity: 8Description: 8
Comments: Why in god's name are there spoilers inside of spoilers? Like damn. I really love this look
and the description is solid. This is also a great case of being glad that EE didn't include the item list
for this entry. Just kidding, it was in the first top spoiler that I tend to ignore but didn't. I wish it was a
little less matchy matchy, but that is a very small thing. I also think Jae needs more of a nose. Like of
course it isn't required. But with all the other details added the nose area feels very bare.

                    Arielso — Marilou 57.5%
                    Style: 2Motif: 9Creativity: 4Description: 8
Comments: There are a lot of wheels going on in this look. Skateboard, car, scooter. I like that for this
challenge the wheels are fully embraced. Even if two out of three are just part of the background. This
is a bit lazy. The entire look is honestly lazy, the most effort that seems to have been put in is the hair
clips. I want a chain belt. I want a phone with color. I want band aids or stickers on the face, want to
see Marilou actually on the board. If you want her just standing by, Sk8 or Die has a better pose and
board options. Even if it would mean she wasn't filming her friend with a phone. Hell, any of the normal
skateboards would be better too, they've got more of a pop. Can't even see the necklace. Just..idk I
                    feel very whatever about this.

                    Eziara — Delilah 65%
                    Style: 2Motif: 8Creativity: 8Description: 8
Comments: Obsessed with the penny farthing and going a circus route, that is soooo creative
and I commend Eziara for that. Delilah is in a dynamic pose which is so appreciated. This is
also a really good description. However. The look itself isn't good. The colors don't line up, too
sharp and bright versus too faded, arms look almost too skinny compared to her legs, and what
is going on with the pink sparkles? Also waaaay too many filters. I just..idk. No.

                    torimani — Mathilde 72.5%
                    Style: 5.5Motif: 8Creativity: 8Description: 7.5
Comments: Do I love this? No. Do I love how tori gathered up Danaerys and put her in her place?
Absolutely. First look was better, but this was an appropriate pivot and does meet the challenge
better. This is another one where the wheels obscure a lot of the outfit, but we can still see enough
of it that it works out better than some other looks. Maybe if the top was a different color than the
coat it would make things just a little easier to see and appreciate. Are both feet on this side of the
bike when she's supposed to be reading it? Mathilde also just seems to layer oddly with the bike.

Sleepy Luna Moth — Tara 66.25%
                    Style: 6Motif: 7Creativity: 7.5Description: 6
Comments: Love the backstory and thought behind this, wish a little bit more of the description
story was actually seen in the look? Like knitting a blanket or picking an apple. Wish the part of
the description we really want where they talk about the how on what they did wasn't under a
damn spoiler. Also - as much as I love the vehicle choice - it also doesn't match up with what is
being said. Story is they loaded into a van and were traveling around, but it looks like they were
selling something at the craft show. Just isn't the right van for the story. But it is a cute one. Idk,
the more and more I sit with this one the more disjointed it all feels. Cute outfit though.

                    John — Moxie 82.5%
                    Style: 8Motif: 10Creativity: 8Description: 7
Comments: I wish the sun flare filter wasn't used because it is just a little bit too distracting.
But this is a strong entry. I really like the over all formatting - which is a last consideration - but
it is pleasing to the eye. Colors are great for Moxie. The little duck is, to quote Moxie, "iconic"
point of inspiration. I don't think my mind would have ever gone there. Decent description,
would have liked a little bit more about the building of the outfit. In this instance I like the other
look but I do think it was a good decision to ditch the jacket. I do think some color in the outfit
would have been nice and helped details stand out more.

                    J810Princess125 — Solveig 77.5%
                    Style: 7.5Motif: 8Creativity: 7.5Description: 8
Comments: Better use of the wheels, the flower van actually serves a purpose this time. Looking at
the item list I can see that this is a very simple look and would have liked to see more put into it. I
almost feel like the soft aesthetic hear is fighting against Solveig and her innate style. And while I
like the juxtaposition I do think there should be a look that matches more. Idk. This is a fine look too,
nothing super special? I like it a lot but just..I feel nothing. Yay Animal Crossing mention. heart

                    nenone — Bobbi 81.25%
                    Style: 7.5Motif: 9Creativity: 8Description: 8
Comments: This is another look with an adorable idea and description that I enjoy. nenone really knows
how to work with colors, and is very good at picking flattering ones for Bobbi. I wish there was a little bit
to break up the look this time - especially with how much of the outfit is obscured by the scooter - since
it does all kind of blend together. The "helmet" was such a smart way to approach it. This is all lovely,
just wish I could see it better and that the final designer thought was not in a spoiler.

                    immortaljelly — Vanity 62.5%
                    Style: 5Motif: 6.5Creativity: 7.5Description: 6
Comments: Part of me admires the commitment to the eyebrows, but they do make Vanity look angry
and I do hope we see a different look/expression in the future. Especially with the sparkles I'm not sure
these brows are needed, they fight. The bold choice of vehicle is appreciated but I have no idea why on
earth jelly would choose to put the cloak on that then covers damn near the entire outfit/body that could
be seen and isn't hidden by the bike. Honestly kind of shocked at what a miss this is after the stellar
look given last challenge. Also gonna be so honest, between the length of things and spoilers, I'm not
reading all of it. But also, with what we can see in the spoiler, the outfit just isn't...there is so much more
                    that could be done.

                    kaekie — Willow 80%
                    Style: 8Motif: 8Creativity: 8Description: 8
Comments: This is lovely. Creative choice of vehicle, wouldn't have thought to do that. Nice
formatting, good color schemes, cute outfit. Wish we could see it a little better. I also think that over
all kaekie is just putting too much make up on Willow. Like, it isn't bad by any means, there is just
so much. I'd love for there to be a look with a more plain face. The sitting/leg pose looks a little odd
the more I look at it. This meets the challenge and I feel like it also meets what kaekie was going
                    for.

                    SoggykittenART — Olivia 95%
                    Style: 10Motif: 9Creativity: 10Description: 9
Comments: I'm pretty obsessed with this look. It caught my eye from the jump and has only
continued to grow on me. Only skimmed the diary entry but I do like the aesthetic of that, and the
actual description is really good. So much went into building this look and totally love to see it
and how it all comes together. So clever to be on a train to imply the wheel without showing it,
though I kind of would have liked to see a wheel. Maybe a toy train included or just something
to be a little nod. Part of me really likes the choker layered as is and the dimension it brings,
and part of me would have liked to see it.

                    xXAcid_FreeXx — Emerson 67.5%
                    Style: 5Motif: 7Creativity: 7Description: 8
Comments: O b s e s s e d with the roller skates! This image is real blurry though. Color scheme is
really nice on Emerson. Nice pose. Good description. Don't need the narrative spoiler. Background
feels really empty in a way I don't really love. Idk, this is cute. Aesthetic. Quite a bit actually went into
building the outfit, but it is just..nice. Blurriness doesn't help. Want something to wow me more.

lucifer eats pizza — Tamara 60%
                    Style: 4Motif: 7Creativity: 5Description: 8
Comments: Something about this image did not upload correct for me and I really hate how pixelated
it is. Between that and the color play on the top it just all really blends in a way that makes it hard to
see or appreciate any details. I also just don't...get this. The bike seems so dark compared to the rest
of the look. Couldn't even tell she was wearing shorts until I saw the item list. Like the colors on Tamara
are cute and all but it just...idk. Idk guys! This one just does nothing for me.

                    They See Me Rollin’
                    Challenge Description

                    nyphente — Sunny 70%
                    Style: 7Motif: 8Creativity: 5Description: 8
Comments: I actually love this one. like its the best of the bike looks for me and while it is very basic I like it.
Sunny looks good. I like the Biker chick look on her its nice to see her more edged out and less cute and sweet. I hate cigarettes but Sunny is doing that thing where smoking looks hot and cool.
I like the description It was a pretty solid one and honestly it was really an easy read which I can't say for all the descriptions. Its not always about length but sometimes I like when I get all the information I need and want AND its kept short.

                    Endless Endeavors — Jae 85%
                    Style: 8Motif: 9Creativity: 8Description: 9
Comments: This is everything I would want from a skater look. Its dynamic energetic and has a strong streetwear look!
I think the colors are great and I love the Vaporwave look it stands out from the crowd in a really pleasant way. The background isn't overwhelming but its also not dead space either.
I like the make up on Jae here its simple but compliments the look. I like the variety we've seen from EE so far. I think he pared the description down a good amount and refocused most of his writing on talking about the design rather than selling us a story.

                    Arielso — Marilou 22.5%
                    Style: 1Motif: 1Creativity: 2Description: 5
Comments: No. Just no. I am mildly offended that they thought this was an acceptable look at all.
WHERE IS THE FASHION? THE EFFORT? THE ANYTHING?
Its given middle school guy who dresses in skater brands but I never saw with a board and his personality was middle school "hot" guy.
I get it skaters did dress like this But MAKE IT FASHION. Don't be so literal if its going to be boring. even in the description it was pick up off the floor. I want the girl at the skate-park who is serving and swerving.

                    Eziara — Delilah 67.5%
                    Style: 6Motif: 6Creativity: 8Description: 7
Comments: I wasn't into this look at all but the description really made me flip.
I hated the white gloves they seemed so bright and distracting but Ezi made it make sense by talking about how they would want her hand visible at a distance during the performance.
The background still is a little distracting and the image a bit blurry. The sparkle on her face a tad distracting and unflattering but over all I don't dislike it.
Not my top look but I'm sold enough.

                    torimani — Mathilde 62.5%
                    Style: 6Motif: 6Creativity: 6Description: 7
Comments: While this is another bike look that blocks the outfit I can see a lot more of the outfit than in IJ's look.
I like the Coat and Hat. I think the color palette works for me. I'm glad it wasn't green or Byzantium purple.
I feel like the action pose with the guns is actually pretty strong. I think after the initial change from the spaceship I thought it wasn't as good but I actually like that she changed it when she realized it didn't fit the challenge.
Honestly this one has grown on me. I still think we can push Tori harder. I've seen the looks she has done on the GR and for herself I know she has what it takes.

Comments: Finally a nice clear image from sleepy.
I like that Tara was a stand in for sleepy here!
This look is really about her personal goals and I love that.
I also liked this one right off the bat. Cozy and cute is it a winning look no but I love it anyway.
I think the background is a bit discordant and unfortunately she wasn't the only one to use this exact set of wheels.

Comments: Biggest issue off the bat is the pink jacket version is SO much better.
Never the less its a solid look. I think John does have great styling choices here.
I do think adding the duck was a cute way to play off the duck crossing sign and fill that empty space.
I think the description was a huge improvement and we finally learned a little about John!

                    J810Princess125 — Solveig 70%

Comments: I feel very luke warm on this look. I feel like its got many strong aspects but I hate that dress. IDK why maybe its the giant buttons or something with the shape? its a shame because I do like the shawl and pants.
I also think the background construction is very good here nice depth of field. I wish there was just SOMETHING that blended her more edgy features into this. I think there was a way to make it just smoother / more natural.

                    Nenone — Bobbi 67.5%
                    Style: 7Motif: 8Creativity: 6Description: 6
Comments: I really love that Nenone is doing so well with Bobbi! She looks so sweet here and the colors all look so clean and sweet!
I would like more focus on the why of the look and I want to learn about Nenone as a designer but since they "missed" the first challenge I want to make sure we give them a chance to sort that balance out.
I think its very much the best Bobbi has looked yet.

                    immortaljelly — Vanity 42.5%
                    Style: 4Motif: 4Creativity: 3Description: 6
Comments: I like the description I think its nice to see they were working from a concept but I wish we had seen one of the other ideas or a different execution of this one. It just feels very blah personally.
The Bike is just eating up the design. Frankly most of what I can see is Bike and Cloak. I don't have much else to really say positive or negative. I just know we could have gotten something better.

                    kaekie — Willow 92.5%
                    Style: 9Motif: 9Creativity: 9Description: 10
Comments: We are going to have a tough season Kaekie is just killing it.
A little old wagon full of flowers? The soft but not muddled colors?
Her scene building is incredible and she maintains a solid focus on fashion through it all. We are not losing any point on the outfit itself. I love her descriptions too! Such a clear vision.
Gives us a story without it being the main part of her description. Just a really peak design.

                    SoggykittenART — Olivia 95%
                    Style: 10Motif: 10Creativity: 10Description: 8
Comments: The earlier look is not needed but I'm not counting it against her because the final look is better. Obviously we need to tell them all not to show unentered versions of the look.
Now on to the good which is literally everything else I adore the look as I mentioned in the chat.
I love the train I love that we don't need to see the wheels I love a non modern or futuristic look. The layering is fantastic.
The description gives me all the details I wanted.
I even like the mention of what she changed as she went I just didn't need to see the earlier version of the look. Small dock on the description for the added old look.

                    xXAcid_FreeXx — Emerson 75%
                    Style: 7Motif: 6Creativity: 8Description: 9
Comments: I do love the disco skate rink vibes and it reminds me of the the outfits I would put together to go to the skate rink, which was where we went for my partners birthday like three years in a row.
I think the colors are nice and nobody else went with roller skates.
The description is great I love the description of the inspo and build and I love reference links.
Its oddly empty I'm not sure what it needs but it needs something to fill that space. the emptiness is distracting?

lucifer eats pizza — Tamara 70%
                    Style: 7Motif: 7Creativity: 7Description: 7
Comments: This look is really cute I don't know why its SO pixelated.
I think I'll maybe let people know if they are having trouble with my guide they can come to me directly for help as long as I don't see the finished designs before they are posting.
On to the look I like that Lucifer is creating a personality for Tamara I can see it potentially carrying very well as long as they aren't so tied to it that they don't hit the mark on challenges.
I like this little romper and tights I think the hat build is cute its not incredible but Its a solid look.

                    Style: 8Motif: 9Creativity: 9Description: 10
Comments: I like this look a lot and can see the vision.
It is one of the only entries that is properly unique. The pink is nice.
I think the pole from the carousel horse is well concealed so it looks like an actual horse.
I still can't get over the hair being slightly visible.
She used Dawning Swamplands Circe for the shorts but the hat from it doesn't show Sunny's hair and would have been a better choice.
I realize I'm being picky here though. Description was on point.

                    Style: 6Motif: 8Creativity: 6Description: 10
Comments: Not my favorite look this week.
This isn't bad I like that its meant to be down to earth and EE took inspiration from his friend who worked on a ranch.
I love the sweat on Jae's face I think its a nice touch.
The only big downside is I hate the pants and skirt combo.
It just looks weird to me. I wish it was just the pants.
Still not a bad look just not his best.

Comments: I want to like this but I can't get over how badly the hair clips with this hat.
There are other hats that don't clip with Delilah's hair.
and frankly using the gun to cover up the very obvious strand that clips at the front isn't working.
The flowers also don't really camouflage the other hair at the back.
What I will say is its clearly a different take than the other designers went for.
I just don't feel like Ezi is excelling with Delilah.
Ezi did such strong work with Imani last cycle and I have yet to see the same polish.

Comments: I really love this look! Its cute its sexy its hot girl its Coyote Ugly.
More color would have been nice or some sparkle just a bit more pizazz
I also am not seeing it as boho? Boho is just softer to me and this is Tough Hot Bar Girl which is different.
But this is my favorite Mathilde to date.
I wish it wasn't blurry but its clear enough that I can see the details.

Its just not doing much of anything.Sleepy has been here since cycle 5! She knows better than to throw away a challenge.
The only good part is that the leg pose is strong but man the rest is not doing anything.
Even the description was phoned in.
                    Love sleepy but deeply disappointed.
I was GENEROUS on motif because its a cowboy and it leans cute.

The matching hat and belt with the bull? love that.
Its outlaw style cowboy which many did but its done so well.
                    His description was great too.

Comments: This is a pretty baseline look.
Its not bad. But nothing stands out.
No special details to focus on.
There's nothing wrong here. It all fits just fine.
Clearly Rosey cared about this challenge but gosh I've got nothing to say here.
Also I did not read all that it was just too much for me to handle while I've been sick and there are like no paragraph breaks.
                    But better than sleepys nothing.

Comments: This one isn't the most creative on the list but its more varied than most.
I think the color composition was slightly off the teal flowers are a tad distracting.
I don't love the the pants.
The good here is I think the way she accessorized the look was pretty good other than the flower. The description was good maybe a tad long but not terrible.

The brows work for me this week.
The accents of red are nice.
Unfortunately I'm just not fully sold and the lack of creativity is just not helping.

Comments: Early on I wasn't full sold on this wench look that felt a bit pirate but OMG after all the homogeneous looks this week Kaekie landed higher up.
Its different. The skirt the plaid the layering even the background looks distinct because of the blue in the sky.
I'm not getting outlaw like the description says but honestly maybe thats for the best.

                    SoggykittenART — Olivia 92.5%

Comments: This was one of my favorites this week.
Its Cowboy in the rancher literally herding cows sense and honestly thank god.
Not an outlaw. I like the lasso and the denim with the chaps.
The dirt on her face reads as 5'oclock shadow but I adore it. Its giving gender.
I really feel like it stands out not only as a take that was more creative but also the execution was fantastic.

                    xXAcid_FreeXx — Emerson 90%

Comments: This is a great entry and manages to feel distinct among the crowd.
The main color of the outfit being blue is nice and frankly I like the darker blues here.
The ruffle sleeves are really cute. I have a love hate relationship with the belt buckle on one hand it stands out so much.
On the other hand that makes the buckle very southern.
I think the design choices play nicely with her hair.
Most of all I love the hand pose! shes tilting her hat which is just *Chef's Kiss*

lucifer eats pizza — Tamara 67.5%
                    Style: 7Motif: 7Creativity: 7Description: 6
Comments: This is a really good entry considering the lateness. Its not an outlaw.
I'm not sure about the thought process behind it. It doesn't read cut beef out of your diet.
That explanation feels like a stretch but I like that they have crafted an eco friendly modeling career for Tamara.
Its a unique lens to try and interpret each challenge through.

**•̩̩͙✩•̩̩͙*˚˚*•̩̩͙✩•̩̩͙*˚* Challenge #3: You’ve Got A Friend In Me **•̩̩͙✩•̩̩͙*˚˚*•̩̩͙✩•̩̩͙*˚*
Designers, we’ve seen our first elimination and now the competition should be feeling real.
This week we’re asking you to dust off your boots and give us a cowgirl look!
From the Pink Pony Club to the rodeo, there is a lot of directions to take this
challenge. Throw on some Shania Twain (or Beyonce!) and let your inspiration
take hold. This should read cowgirl though. Country. Think dirty boots and
plaid, cows and horses. Fringe. Denim. Good luck, designers!

☆═━┈┈━═☆

✩ nyphente — Sunny 95%
Style: 9 • Motif: 9 • Creativity: 10 • Description: 10
Comments: Out of all of this week's entries, nyphente's definitely stands out.
I adore the soft colours, the pink pony, and the pose. It's so simply adorable!
While there are certain elements I find not the best - the socks feel a bit too busy,
there's a little bit of weird layering going on on the upper half of Sunny's body.
However, most of my issues are minor, and the look wins simply by being a
creative take, rather than another generic cowboy.

☆═━┈┈━═☆

✩ Endless Endeavors — Jae 71.25%
Style: 6.5 • Motif: 7 • Creativity: 7 • Description: 8
Comments: This is quite a simple look, which is not bad. I like the idea of
layering the skirt with the rest of the outfit. Still, there's something off
about this look that I cannot quite put my finger on. I am unsure if it's just
that some shades do not match or if it's how the sweat looks more like
piercings than sweat drops.

☆═━┈┈━═☆

✩ Eziara — Delilah 72.5%
Style: 7 • Motif: 7 • Creativity: 7 • Description: 8
Comments: I like how Eziara mixed the dark colours with bright pinks,
which makes the look stand out more. I am actually surprised how
much I like it the more I look at it. My biggest issue is that I am unsure
what's going on with the main body part; it kinda looks like Delilah's body
is just painted, and she's not wearing any specific clothes? It confuses
me a little... also, the fact that it's another typical cowboy look. Still, it is a
bit more of a creative take, even if just slightly.

☆═━┈┈━═☆

✩ torimani — Mathilde 67.5%
Style: 6 • Motif: 6 • Creativity: 7 • Description: 8
Comments: I like the main outfit part, and the leg item - it is giving sexy!
But the more I look at it, the more weird layering I notice... Her back hair
is eaten up by the horse, and her hat sits really weirdly at the top of her
head. I feel like the makeup could've been a bit more glam, and I do not
like how pixelated the image is. I am barely able to decipher her outfit,
though I am still confused by her chest area.

☆═━┈┈━═☆

✩ Sleepy Luna Moth — Tara 17.5%
Style: 2 • Motif: 2 • Creativity: 2 • Description: 1
Comments: This is an annoying entry to judge - there's barely anything
here. I think the outfit has some nice bones. I like the main part of it -
the top, the jacket, the legs. I just hate other parts. The makeup is weird
and does not match, especially her bright red blush. The hat is brown for
some reason, even though no other part of the outfit is brown... And
there's no description at all. I can empathize with struggling with a theme,
but in the end, this is a competition, and you should try your damn best to
show us why it's you who should be the winner. Also, this is still one of the
less intense challenges, so...

☆═━┈┈━═☆

✩ John — Moxie 65%
Style: 6 • Motif: 6 • Creativity: 6 • Description: 8
Comments: I like the more movie-angle John took, though you cannot
really see it in the look itself. When it comes to the outfit, I feel like it's
just... okay? There are some choices I don't understand, like the red
top, the black pants, but offblack hat? Also not too fond of the cacti
covering the bottom part of the look...

☆═━┈┈━═☆

✩ J810Princess125 — Solveig 90%
Style: 10 • Motif: 10 • Creativity: 6 • Description: 10
Comments: There's something about this look that just is... perfect.
I don't know if it's the makeup, the pose, or how everything seems in
motion. There is a minor layering issue with the jacket's chains on top
of the bag's strap, but it can be ignored. Honestly, most of the points
are lost just on the creativity, because it's just another generic cowboy.

☆═━┈┈━═☆

✩ nenone — Bobbi 75%
Style: 7 • Motif: 7 • Creativity: 8 • Description: 8
Comments: I like the creative angle for storytelling, and that it's not another
outlaw look. Personally, I am not that fond of it, though. I feel like the colours
clash, and the background is too dark? The pose is too static and the big
flower keeps distracting me from the rest of the look. Still, I can appreciate
that nenone at least tried something different.

☆═━┈┈━═☆

✩ immortaljelly — Vanity 72.5%
Style: 7 • Motif: 8 • Creativity: 6 • Description: 8
Comments: A completely fine look, there's honestly nothing bad or special
about it. It has quite nice colours, I like how the filter makes the outfit look
more well colour-coded. The pose is a tad stiff in the arm area, but nonetheless...
It's quite nice. There are a few more interesting or creative looks, though.

☆═━┈┈━═☆

✩ kaekie — Willow 78.75%
Style: 8 • Motif: 8 • Creativity: 7.5 • Description: 8
Comments: I like the main outfit, the combination of the items look great as a dress.
I do not like the stars added to the hat, they do not give off Annie Oakley/Calamity
Jane to me. The hat's colour is also completely different to the dress's shade of red.
The pose also feels a little bit stiff, but still, this is one of the slightly more creative
angles of a cowboy look.

☆═━┈┈━═☆

✩ SoggykittenART — Olivia 75%
Style: 7 • Motif: 8 • Creativity: 8 • Description: 7
Comments: I have mixed feelings about this look, it definitely has some interesting
and more unique aspects - dirt, lasso. I do love the fluffy cow, and that Kitten used
some bright colours. I for sure do not like the earrings and how they melt into Olivia's
hair. Also, the dirt looks like 5 o'clock shadow, which, if intentional, is nice, as it gives
an androgynous look. If not, then, well... Also, I wish the description were more about
Olivia's look instead of what didn't work for her.

☆═━┈┈━═☆

✩ xXAcid_FreeXx — Emerson 71.25%
Style: 6.5 • Motif: 7 • Creativity: 8 • Description: 7
Comments: I like that Acid took a slightly more unique take on the cowboy, leaning more
into the Mexican history. I dunno if I like the look itself, it's not bad, the colours match, but
also... it doesn't feel like Emerson? I think a modern cowboy look would've been perfect for her!

☆═━┈┈━═☆

✩ lucifer eats pizza — Tamara 62.5%
Style: 7 • Motif: 6 • Creativity: 7 • Description: 5
Comments: While this look is lacking in certain aspects, Lucifer did make it in a very short time.
And it is still a little bit more creative than some other entries. I do like the reds and how Tamara
kinda feels like a strawberry. I wish the image wasn't so pixelated, but I also won't be too harsh
on Lucifer this round. Also, + for the cow. (Lucifer had a few hours and did a better look than
Sleepy, who had a week-)

                    Style: 8Motif: 9Creativity: 10Description: 10
Comments: I love how this look stands out from the crowd this week! Pastel pink is a favorite of mine and Nyphente's comment about this color being a source of comfort, joy, and confidence definitely resonated. This is exactly the kind of cowgirl I would hope to see in a fashion contest; I think the Western influence comes through without being too literal. As much as I love the leg pose and boots, I might have used a cutter to nix the skeleton socks, as they do detract from the overall "sweetness" of the look in a way that doesn't really feel intentional here. Additionally, the details in the torso area are a little jumbled and hard to read. I also feel like the blush is layered on a liiiiittle too thick? Nitpicks aside, I really do think this is a solid look that gets high points in creativity for me!

                    Endless Endeavors — Jae 75%
                    Style: 7Motif: 7Creativity: 7Description: 9
Comments: I really like this color scheme for Jae actually; the browns and creams are lovely with the classic denim hues. So glad to see that Jae has been blessed with a nose, and the details in the face are nice. I have mixed feelings on the skirt-over-pants look. The proportions aren't half-bad and it doesn't look horrible... I think maybe it's just inconsistent with the vibe the the description pitched? It's maybe a little too cutesy for someone that's supposed to depict a heavy laborer. Solid description. Overall I'd say it's a serviceable look but I'm not feeling much about it.

                    Eziara — Delilah 83.75%
                    Style: 7Motif: 8Creativity: 8.5Description: 10
Comments: Woah! A very unexpected look for sweet Delilah, but... I'm not mad at it! I think this was a good pivot away from the early look that Ezi had posted. Love the details in the hat and the overcoat is very swaggy. That said, there's something about the way the items are layering that make the pose feel strange; the proportions under Delilah's arm are reading a little oddly to me. I also have mixed feelings about the texture the rosaries are creating in the middle; there's so many details in the coat already that I don't know if they were needed.

                    torimani — Mathilde 88.75%
                    Style: 9Motif: 8Creativity: 8.5Description: 10
Comments: First off I want to say that I love the outfit; Mathilde is lookin' fiiiiiine. Love the boots, the booty shorts, the bustier, the pose... even the little hint of makeup feels very flirty and seductive. That said... I'm really overwhelmed by this horse. I don't mind that there IS a horse. This one just really eats a lot of the background space and feels a little distracting from the look. Also, image quality! The outfit is still readable enough, but I wish I could see it a little better.

Sleepy Luna Moth — Tara 17.5%
                    Style: 2Motif: 2Creativity: 2Description: 1
Comments: Honestly, I find this entry unacceptable at this stage. I understand that some prompts won't resonate with everyone, but the impression I get from this look AND description is that Sleepy had no interest in even trying to rise to the challenge. The dynamic pose is great and the black and the pink details are cute, so I'm not sure why Sleepy didn't try to work with that angle more... I think something unconventional could have worked in her favor against a lot of "played-straight" looks this week. The choice for a brown hat is puzzling, but tbh the description is the worst part about this for me. You should at least try to sell us a little bit on the look!

                    John — Moxie 95%
                    Style: 10Motif: 9Creativity: 9Description: 10
Comments: Another outstanding entry for me this week; I'm super impressed with how John made Moxie look so menacing. Very stylish look--just the right amount of villainous flamboyance and superb details throughout. The bold red is a nice choice to set her apart from some other looks. I love the matching skulls and noticed them instantly, but I'm glad John made sure to call special attention to those details in the description. I actually quite like the cacti and the depth they create for the background.

                    J810Princess125 — Solveig 88.75%
                    Style: 9Motif: 9Creativity: 8.5Description: 9
Comments: Solveig is looking so slick, and I think this look perfectly complements her natural features. One of my favorite looks this week! Love how the little hint of red in the vest ties into her hair color. Big fan of the chains on the overcoat as well, though part of me wishes they layered under the bag. Nice background details; I love the item that almost looks like a cinematic lens flair. Description was a little long-winded IMO and could have focused a little more on the outfit details, but the provided inspo comes through very clearly.

                    nenone — Bobbi 82.5%
                    Style: 7Motif: 8Creativity: 8Description: 10
Comments: I like that Nenone went for the rodeo angle here! Even if the fashion is a little more "played straight" than some other entries, I think the creative setting helps to set Bobbi apart from all the other ranch hands and dustbowl outlaws. The details are crisp and easy to read, and the textures are consistent. I have mixed feelings about the big flower clip. It's cute and I get what Nenone was going for... but it's maybe a little too bold and distracting? My other minor critique is that Bobbi's pose is a little static and flat. It does look like this was built with mostly older items to keep the rendering consistent so I suppose only so much can be done with that.

                    immortaljelly — Vanity 76.25%
                    Style: 7.5Motif: 7Creativity: 7Description: 9
Comments: This is... a fine look. Not really reinventing any wheels. Steph's past entries have had some creative slants, and while last week's entry didn't really land for me, this almost feels like it was played uncharacteristically safe. I get that having no strong connections with the genre/style may be a factor here, but IMO I think this could have been pushed more! Colors and textures are cohesive and the ambiance is good. I think the scars are a nice touch. As with some other looks, I'm just not feeling wowed by anything.

                    kaekie — Willow 80%
                    Style: 8Motif: 7Creativity: 9Description: 8
Comments: I think Kae took Willow's look in a unique direction this week, but honestly, outside of the horse and hat I'm not sure it's reading to me as immediately "Western"? It's a lovely outfit, but it feels almost a little more pirate-y or tavern wench than frontier woman. I suppose there's some overlap between those two flavors depending on the time period, but tbh I'm not seeing a lot of the inspiration in the provided images come through in the final look, and I wish the description delved into the choices more. Still, a nice balance of colors and textures, and the background is well-crafted. I wish Willow's arms were just a little more dynamic.

                    SoggykittenART — Olivia 76.25%
                    Style: 7.5Motif: 8Creativity: 7Description: 8
Comments: Another very straightforward look, and I'm actually surprised that no one else went for the lasso item. The embroidered shirt and horseshoe hat pin are cute details that up the fashion quotient a bit, but I'm still not floored by this entry. I don't think the earrings were needed; they blend in too much with Olivia's hair to the point that I didn't see them at first. Description focused a little too much on what wasn't in the look. I was reading it and looking at the outfit like... huh... what bolo tie? It's perfectly fine (and encouraged) to touch on pain points, but IMO it shouldn't take up that much room in the description compared to the achievements.

                    xXAcid_FreeXx — Emerson 91.25%
                    Style: 9.5Motif: 8.5Creativity: 8.5Description: 10
Comments: Y'know, the longer I look at this, the more I love it. While I would categorize this look in the more "expected" category of entries this week, it's done so solidly. Acid really nailed the details; everything reads clearly and harmoniously. Big fan of the sleeves, the hat decor, how the bolo tie and vest feel like they're billowing in the wind... AND I really love how the bold black, white, and blue works with Emerson's features. It's a very refreshing move away from the pastel looks of the past two weeks. The verdant, mountainous background reminds me a lot of a horse ranch I once visited in Colorado as a kid, and the lush background stands out in a good way from a lot of the more "arid wasteland" entries. Excellent description as well, it really explains everything I'd want to know. More like this please!

lucifer eats pizza — Tamara 52.5%
                    Style: 6Motif: 5Creativity: 6Description: 4
Comments: I'm glad Lucifer made an appearance this week and I really commend the effort to try and put something together in such a short timeframe. I see the vision here, and while the details do feel rushed, it at least feels like an attempt was made, which makes me feel like Lucifer should make it to the next round despite the late entry with no prior notice. The style reminds me of like... a Harvest Moon character. Not the most realistic cowgirl, but that's not the worst thing. It's whimsical!

Challenge #3:You've Got A Friend In Me
Designers, we’ve seen our first elimination and now the competition should be feeling real.
Fringe. Denim. Good luck, designers!

                    nyphente — Sunny 81.25%
                    Style: 8Motif: 8Creativity: 7.5Description: 9
Comments: Sunny is a pink pony club and she dances at the club. It is great to see a different
look in the pack of things this week, but yes again there is a horse pony that Sunny and her outfit
just blends into, and then into the background. There needed to be something that was different.
Background needed to be like a shade darker. Honestly would have loved a darker or just more
vibrant pony. Literally same item in Enchanté makes the pony pure white and it would add a nice
dynamic element without changing things drastically. Something kind of odd in the waist, earring
                    clips through the hair.

                    Endless Endeavors — Jae 70%
                    Style: 6Motif: 8Creativity: 6.5Description: 7.5
Comments: I like the vibe, idea of a cowgirl on break. Even kind of like the cigarette. Color scheme
is cute. Nice hat. Don't like the face shade. Skirt item is adorable. Fringe gives me life. But what is
going on with the pants? Why bulky pants under a skirt tucked into boots? No. I hate that and if EE
is aiming for a more realistic cowgirl look, that would never happen. Really dislike that. Yay nose!

                    Eziara — Delilah 77.5%
                    Style: 7Motif: 7Creativity: 8Description: 9
Comments: I like this so much more than the initial look she had going. Like the first look was
witchy and soooo up my alley, but it wasn't it for the challenge. This one is. Like the whole
submission aesthetic. The red used and where works really well with Delilah's hair, and I love
that. Description shows how much thought was put into it. I think there is some weird hair
clipping still but even that is better than it was. I like the rosary but because of pose and things
it almost looks more like a strappy body chain thing that isn't really the vibe. Fine over all.

                    torimani — Mathilde 71.25%
                    Style: 6Motif: 7Creativity: 8Description: 7.5
Comments: Maybe it is just me, but I think this image quality is bad enough to cost points. Like
I'm having a very hard time looking at it. The horse doesn't help anything either. Idea of it is good
but the horse chosen is not, least not with her outfit. White horse would have helped her dark fit
pop rather than making it blend in more. Something is weird with the eye, it looks almost droopy.
I think it is something with the eyebrow chosen and the eyeshadow combo. Legs are sexy but to
me it looks like her pants are falling down rather than boots. Idk. I don't hate this despite how this
may sound, but I don't like it. I like the story and like the vibe. It was a nice take on the challenge.

Sleepy Luna Moth — Tara 27.5%
                    Style: 4Motif: 4Creativity: 2Description: 1
Comments: Much like the description, I have nothing to say. Disappointing. There were so many
options, a world of inspiration that could be drawn from, and this look as is could have been either
polished up more or sold with the description. Whatever.

                    John — Moxie 88.75%
                    Style: 9Motif: 9Creativity: 8.5Description: 9
Comments: I love the different expression on Moxie this week. Appropriate kind of red and plaid for
this week, doesn't come off Scottish. Nice background/foreground/setting composition. Good description.
There is something with the hat and shadowing I don't love. Almost like it is sitting too high on the head?
Something a little weird with the gun arm. I like it.

                    J810Princess125 — Solveig 91.25%
                    Style: 8.5Motif: 10Creativity: 10Description: 8
Comments: Hair clipping in the hat is almost perfect because it looks like a feather and an extra element
on the hat. The clipping of the bag strap under the clasps of the vest is more of a problem for me and just
looks weird. I'm not reading the entire description, just kind of over it at this point, especially in this format.
But this look is my favorite of the week, especially favorite of the like shooter/outlaw vibe looks.

                    nenone — Bobbi 76.25%
                    Style: 7.5Motif: 8Creativity: 6.5Description: 8.5
Comments: The hell are those freckles? Rodeos don't have circus tents. Victorian ish heeled boots
with rolled up jeans also just...doesn't read country to me. Arm mod with the leather jacket rips off
her sleeve from her shirt. Idea of the jacket is good but not at the expense of the shirt. Unless she
clipped off the other sleeve with some kind of cutter to create a tank top, that would work better.
I don't get the flowers in the hair with the hat? Like no one is wearing flowers in their hair and then
squishing a hat in too. They aren't needed, just the hat is fine. Really like the tie. And belts. Nice
                    story and description over all.

                    immortaljelly — Vanity 70%
                    Style: 8Motif: 7Creativity: 5Description: 8
Comments: Something weird with the cheek and ear, looks like her ear is seamless to her jawline
in a way that distracts me. I'm bored of these eyebrows, Vanity is starting to feel flat. It's been the
same look/story/concept for everything. This is just the country version of the space look of the
medieval stone look. Give us something different. This is fine.

                    kaekie — Willow 90%
                    Style: 9Motif: 9Creativity: 9Description: 9
Comments: Love this, plaid is a little Scottish, but I can live with that. Love the old school country both
because it stands out this week but it also uniquely creative. Would have liked a different skirt maybe
add another bustle. Indifferent on the stars. Great look.

                    SoggykittenART — Olivia 85%
                    Style: 8Motif: 9Creativity: 7Description: 10
Comments: Okay, so I really like this look. The only thing I don't like is the shading on the face. As
I read the description and took it in I just felt like it is in the wrong place. When you wear a bandana
it is to cover your nose and mouth while you're out riding and getting dirty, so in theory that part of the
face should be the cleanest and the rest of the face should be dirtier and more windblown. But I still
really like this outfit and love hearing her process in the description.

                    xXAcid_FreeXx — Emerson 83.75%
                    Style: 7.5Motif: 9Creativity: 8Description: 9
Comments: I wouldn't have both arms up in the pose, kind of would have liked if she was just tipping
her hat and other arm was relaxed or hooked on her jeans in some manner. Like the movement in the
tie and things. Great description. Some of the best chaps/lower half looks in general. Emerson makes
a wonderful vaquera, and I can hear the music and picture the dancing horses just out of frame.

lucifer eats pizza — Tamara 52.5%
                    Style: 4Motif: 5Creativity: 6.5Description: 5.5
Comments: Not my favorite use of this hat, the mid section is weird. Crop top? White belt? Can't really
tell. Don't like the green...whatever. Cute cow. Weird flower/hand pose moment. Don't get the striped
leggings. Red screams cowgirl. Is she holding a hoe or a hockey stick? But all these things aside: I
can still see a desire to be here. I can still see effort in the look. In the description. It tells me things!
                    Thank god for that.
