It was becoming easier to gather energy, outside of the clubs, as the weather warmed and spring took hold. More people were out and about, and in less of a hurry, as they took their time strolling about. He found the city's parks were a great place to grab people for energy drains, where he could leave people in easy to find places, there were so many people strolling about looking at the flowers which were coming up. Enough of them were in bloom that they were attracting attention from many people.
As it wasn’t safe to energy drain during the day, and risk being caught, Londonite had opted for early evening in the hopes of making things harder whilst also aiming for people looking over the flora of the park. So far he wasn't having such bad luck, good for him really, but he also knew these parks got busy in the city…chaos and order. It really was only a matter of time before someone found him, before he sensed someone, he was just hoping it wasn’t order. He didn't need a fight on his hands, not when he was only here because he didn’t want to go to the lounge tonight and get easy energy.

Sappho didn't really consider herself a creature of habit, when it came to draining. In fact, quite the opposite; she was terrified that having obvious habits might draw negative attention, if say, someone noticed that she was in the same area a lot and decided that meant she was a problem..
(Or decided worse.)
But she found herself doing it a little anyway, choosing particular areas because she knew there would be plenty of people and it'd be easier to disappear into a crowd and hope nobody on the other side would pick a fight with her.
Draining was easy when there were lost of bodies to pull from, basically. And she did like to come to this particular park, this particular section even, and get an easy start before finding somewhere else to go for the rest of the night, if it wasn't a dip back into Mirrorspace to work on her garden a little.
But tonight, it seemed, there was a minor obstacle, because she could feel another Chaos auras, and when she scanned the area, she had a suspicion about where it was coming from.
So, as casually as possible, she slid up next to the man in the jacket decorated with red and blue lines--just odd enough to twig as potentially magical to her eyes, and gave her politest little "please don't rip my soul out of my chest I bet it tastes terrible" smile.
"Good evening, officer," she said, lightly, airily, and in a way that was definitely friendly. "I don't want to push you around, or whatever, but if you're here to drain energy, I usually do around here, at least for a little while."

He had sensed chaos, but not like himself, but not too strong of an aura either. Either ay if he could sense them he knew they felt him as well. At least they were chaos, he thought to himself, as he relaxed and went to looking for his next target. There really were a lot of people to pick from, he could get things over and done with tonight in a good amount of time.
What he wasn't expecting was the female who came up to his side and started speaking. Oh! The owner of that signature. For a moment, that first moment when he was startled, he didn't hear a word she said but soon enough he was listening and staring down at her. "So you want me to leave? Or are you looking to share the area?" It was best he ask, just so there was no confusion, though he wasn't too keen n the idea of vacating the area and letting someone else have it. This was a prime location, as far as he knew, for gathering energy.
"We could both work the area." Hopeful that she wasn't going to ask him to leave, to find some other place, even though the park was rather large.

Huh. Sappho was actually a little surprised to find that the officer was willing to share space. Or, at least, if he was offering, that meant probably...
The Negaverse had always been sort of scary bogeymen to her, between her brother's stories and the things she'd heard from other people, but she'd done her best to avoid encounters herself. Maybe she'd built them up too much; Danalite had been pretty chill, too, but she'd had the special circumstance of relatives in the Court, so it was a little bit different.
Maybe this guy did, too. Who knew.
"I mean, if you're open to it," she said, with a little shrug. "There's probably more than enough for the both of us. I don't usually try to hang out long, but this always ends up being a good place to start the evening." She gave him a brief glance up and down--man, she wished she had any idea how to tell what was going on with a Nega rank-wise. Oh well.
"How lonmg have you been doing this?": She asked, idly. "I don't want to just assume you're new or whatever; I mean, I've been magical for like seven years, and you probably wouldn't know it by looking."
A little embarrassing, maybe, but oh well.
"I'm Sailor Sappho, of the Dark Mirror Court, by the way. Pleasure to meet you."

"Exactly, there are enough people. I'll be leaving mne unconsious on the benches, so they can't fight us, and yours you do with as you need to." Because he had to touch them to drai nthem and if he left them consious one of them might attack him, something he'd very much like to avoid, Londonite was not looking to get into a confrontation with a drained person, it would potentially attract unwanted attention.
"A few years, not that it shows. I've been busy trying to get used to a new country." Which was far more important, it took over his and his spouses lives, it was not easy building up a life from nothing but what you fled yur home country with.
"Londonite, I serve under General Chalcanthite." Who was married to a dark mirror senshi...should he mention that? She wasn't likely to know and he doubted his general would want anyone knowing, he seemed rather private about such things...unlike his spouse. The blond didn't seem to care honestly.

Sappho could not say that she loved the whole "leaving people unconscious on benches" thing, that seemed kind of risky, but she was not going to open her mouth and be judgy when she had no reason to and it could get her in some serious trouble. No reason to rock the boat when they could operate at the same time easily!
"I don't think I even can pull that much from one person, but I also have these little guys," she pulled out a mirrorshard and let the mirrorwraith inside--a serpentine creature with little arms--crawl out and writhe away. "So I can just skim a little off the top and then get on with my night."
At least he was pretty amenable.
"Well, I'm sure you're doing fine, as far as your bosses are concerned, and I hope you like it here. We moved from England when I was little, but obviously that's not the same as getting here on your own." Obviously, the Negaverse had to make allowances for that sort of thing, right?
"Anyway, it's very nice to meet you, Londonite, and good luck with your work."
Honestly, that could have gone a lot worse.
