It was starting to get warmer... Granted there were still some cold rainy and nasty days but days were starting to get warmer and stay warm....
For the most part.
Trees had started sprouting leaves and flowers of all sorts had begun to start blooming in spades. So now here he sat under the tree, enjoying the sun and watching as the petals occasionally got swept up by the wind and carried about.
Necro was thankful for the warmer weather.. He'd long since been over the doom and gloom of winter. It was nice to look at, sure. But he didn't like everything that came with it. The Squire felt as though he had been on auto pilot for the last couple weeks, if not a few months. He was hoping that the shift in seasons would be enough to distract him and get him up and moving again, even just a little bit.

Celadonite had been wondering if it was getting warmer. It wasn’t warm at home anymore, and he didn’t really know why, but didn’t have the energy to figure it out either. It was fine. It was still home and there were still blankets and his fireplace but.
It was fine. He was fine.
A quick trip to the tree that he kept meeting Necro at was needed, and the air was…not hot but warm enough to be comfortable.
There was the feeling of a squire, because of course there was, and Celadonite chuckled softly. “Testing the weather too, hm?”

Necro chuckled himself hearing the voice. "Mmm, something like that. Kinda needed a distraction and figured being outside would solve a few problems." Plus... It gave Brooklyn a break from his general... bleh-ness that came with the winter and cold.
How she put up with him up until this point was anyone's guess. He really owed her...
He threw his hands up in the air, making a 'come here' motion. "C'mere? I missed you." Which... was probably a given. "How have you been? Did you sleep okay?"

Celadonite moved closer and folded himself next to Necro, hesitating for a moment then nearly crawling into the Squire’s lap, nuzzling against his neck. “It’s colder at home than it used to be. I’m not sure why but. It is, and my little fireplace can only do so much. I was able to work with a Mauvian so that it no longer needs wood so when I’m…you know really cold and can’t get up that it won’t die. Which is…absolutely a benefit. But.”
He bit back his words. That he wished he didn’t have to deal with any of it. That he could just…not be this creature that he had turned himself into but.
That chance was lost. And this was the best that he had. Which. Was fine. He was fine. They were fine?
Celadonite supposed they were fine.

Necro wrapped his arms around the General, squeezing gently and sighing happily.
"Weird that it's colder there now... You'd think it would be warmer there then here now.." But then again... Not like he understood how that area worked anyway. "That's pretty neat that you could get a Mauvian to do that though.. I didn't realize they could do things like that.. Your fire place probably works better then the fire pits I dragged up to my wonder."
Definitely something to test for the future. Saturn was always cold.
"Do you want me to raid my closet for anything for you?" Not like he'd be needing any hoodies or heavier blankets right now. "I think you have my heaviest stuff right now but I'm sure I could find something."

“They’re pretty handy for glorified cats. Do you have any that are around you? I’m sure that you could get them to help out with the firepits, maybe make them self sustaining.”
Celadonite was quiet for a moment, thinking. “I mean, if you wanted to find one, maybe…we could go up there and help out getting them self sustaining? I’d. Be down for that. If you would. And, no I’m okay. It’s just weird. It wasn’t like this last year so I just wonder what changed, you know?”
He sighed and twisted, hesitating before pressing a kiss to Necro’s neck before wincing and pulling away. “I am not pretzel sized no matter how much I really want to be at this moment, I just gave myself the worst kink in my back, give me a second.”
The squirmed and twisted and finally, the popping sound of several joints came from the General’s back and he sighed in relief. “Oh ******** yes.”

Necro hummed. "Not anymore. There was one that I would cross paths with... way back when... But I haven't seen her since. Kinda figured it would be better if I didn't go looking for her. Probably not a good look for either of us if they found out a Squire was looking for a Negaverse's Mauvian, you know?" He shrugged lightly. "I think you would have liked her though. She was quite sassy."
It was definitely a thought. If that could make things easier and require less work... It was something for him to consider. "I'd be up for it... I just know it was... a lot last time. I don't wanna put you through that again." He gave the General a quick once over glance, wondering. " ...Maybe... It's a you thing? Maybe something's changed with you? Maybe the youma bits are changing to adapt-" His words came to a screeching hault as Cela kissed his neck.
Okay. That was a first.
They definitely hadn't done THAT before..
He sat and stared in stunned silence.
Also, a first, but that was besides the point.
He shook his head, blinking back to reality.
"...I... uh.. Oh boy." Necro sighed. This was diabolical. "I thought snakes were suppose to be flexible." He teased lightly. "...Plus, I like you this size anyway." Then the pops happened and Necro twitched.
Cela was trying to kill him.
Maybe.

“I’m only a little snakelike, scales, weakness to cold. But flexible? Not really, sadly.”
He paused and sighed, snuggling a little closer. “That’s a shame. It could have been a fun project. With the Mauvian. I’ll see if I can find one, but like you were saying I doubt if they’d be happy to work with a Knight. Fixing up a Knight’s Wonder…”
Celadonite looked a little disappointed, but his face was hidden so at least Necro wouldn't know. It had been an olive branch too, trying to get back to the Wonder with a third party so maybe he wouldn’t…get so upset.

"And here I thought you had fangs..." Necro sighed dramatically. "Though, it's a real wonder how I haven't managed to get bit yet. By you any way." Other things... like giant snow wolves?
Less of a wonder.
"I can ask around though. I'm sure someone at the house has crossed paths with a Mauvian or two." He said, gently rubbing Cela's arm. "...It's not bad up there right now. A friend and I managed to drag a fair bit of stuff up there. It's no hands free fire place mind you but..." Necro shrugged, carefully so as to not jostle the General around to much. "I'm pretty sure I can keep you warm up there." Between the fire pit, the sheer amount of blankets and hoodies up there...
The Squire paused. "...Now I'm beginning to wonder where most of my stuff is, your place, or my wonder..." ...Which, if it was set up for Cela... did that technically count as Cela's place too? "Either way. It's still an option. Even if you wanted to just go and look."

“I do have fangs. Venom too.” Cela said, chuckling softly. It didn’t really matter. But, since Necro had asked.
Or wondered.
“I’m sure it’s not bad. It’s not. I want to help. I want to be a part of it…I…I think it would make me a lot…more chill. No pun intended.”
He sighed. “If it’s. Not something we can do…that’s all right too. I’ll. Work on it.” He didn’t want to. He wanted. He wanted...more contacts with order. Wanted another chance but.
It was fine. This wasn’t. Ideal but. He could survive with it.

"Whenever you want to try goin up there again, we can. You just tell me when you're feeling up to it, yeah? We don't have to stay or nap if you end up not feeling it. Just as long as you see what's up there. I just want you to see what I set up for you." Necro shrugged again, playing with a strand of Cela's hair. "And if it doesn't work out or it's too cold for you... We'll figure something out." It was starting to get warmer now.. They could probably find something around the City to entertain themselves for a bit.
"Just think though, if it doesn't work this time? At least there's no freezing temps to give me a cold from hell this time." Probably not the best thing to joke about but....
Things had worked out, for the most part, pretty well for them so far... They could keep making it work.
"I think it's something we can do though... Was there anything else you wanted me to look into or as people about? Anything at all?"

“I didn’t get gnawed on by a rabbit this year either so, I’ll call that a win. But, yeah that. I’d be okay with that. It…”
He hesitated and shrugged, not really knowing what to say. “It wasn’t the cold that bothered me, I don’t know. I just. Don’t like things being out of my control. It’s a new thing, really and for some reason, going to the wonder, knowing I couldn’t teleport knowing I was just…stuck?” Cela shrugged.
“I’m really hoping if we can find a mauvian to help…and I can get involved with the helping…maybe I won’t have such a stupid useless panic attack. I’m sorry that I did.”

Necro scoffed. "I would have preferred the rabbit." He huffed, detangling from Cela long enough to pull his sleeve up to his elbow. "Remember that Page I was telling you I was in charge of? Well, not long after you warned me about the rabbits, she dragged me off to fight a wolf made of snow. I got a some lovely parting scars out of it. Reminder that this was the arm that had the bracer on it." He said flatly. "Looks like you have more things to worry about this winter then rabbits." He'd been lucky that the bracer had taken the brunt of the bite.
"Don't be sorry for a panic attack that I pretty much induced on you. I should have given you more warning then just grabbing onto your sleeve. And I mean... even if you can't take anything up there, yet, or do anything physical in the end, you have helped. While I dragged hoodies and blankets up there, you gave better suggestions on how to keep things warm. Plus you brought up the point of the Mauvian's messin with the fire pits. I probably wouldn't have thought of either of those." And Cela could've gotten hurt because of it.

Celadonite stared at Necro, then slowly shook his head. “...A snow wolf? As cool as that sounds–no pun intended…what the <********>. I hate that. I seriously hate that so much?” Why winter? Why did these things have to happen when it was cold, when he was at his weakest, and why did some of them have to come as compact cute rabbits? It was stupid. He would write to express his indignation if he could but.
There was nobody to write too.
“It’s not your fault. It was just. A time, that’s all. We’re fixing it now and next time’s going to be a lot better.”
It was worth telling himself that, and really, as long as there were no evil rabbits or snow wolves?
It would end up being the truth.
