Some people might have cried if they lost their identity and scrambled some of their memories when they purified. Some people might have gotten really into the war, sworn vengeance, that kind of thing.
Misty?
Misty had signed up for a backpacking trip in Peru the moment she'd had two pennies to rub together. Some people might have called it dumb. Misty called it living life to the fullest after a intense reminder that s**t happened.
She'd met Antonio in the hostel, and when he'd invited her to go back to Australia with him a week later, she'd said yes. It was a fun time, for a few months. Then, Antonio had told her that he loved her.
Moving across the world with him had been one thing, but that was too much. She'd had to dump him, and at that point she was out of money, and that meant coming back to Destiny City.
Which, since she was here, she figured she could help out with some of the magic stuff. She'd checked in with Sadie before powering up, but she hadn't brought her sibling with her. She knew they'd start sqealing if Mystras so much as took a hammer to a slavering youma, and Mystras didn't need to deal with that.
There were no youma so far, though. It had probably been about half an hour of walking around before Mystras saw anything, and it was just a guy who looked kind of... pink? Not hot pink or anything, just enough that it seemed kind of off, especially with what he was wearing.
She squinted from a distance for a few seconds, then stepped closer.
"Oh yeah," she decided, out loud. "You're one of those alien bros, right?"
