Alpena-Amberley might have been out and about with Hieraopolis, if not for certain matters which kept the older brother home with a wife who could at current not partake in powered shenanigans. It was a happy matter of course! It did, however, leave the youngest of the Bloodmyer brothers to his own devices.
As a Page, he couldn't visit his wonder often, and even though most of it was seemingly still flooded, it was primarily where his interests lay. Each visit though, it seemed that the waters were receding, revealing new mysteries.
Oh, another bonus to visiting his wonder - no mosquitos. Yet. Destiny City had far too many mosquitos for how much of his pale body was exposed. He was, in short, a snack, despite what his poor dating app luck would say.
All that aside;
Alpena-Amberley was kind of just strolling casually through the park, quite relieved that things seemed peaceful at least. He felt the signature of another on the side of Order before he saw the light and familiar colors. He might have thought them another knight of the same flavor as him, if not for the tell-tale buttwings.
AA beamed brightly, ever the ray of warm sunshine, and returned the greeting;
"Yes, good evening! Happy to meet you!"
Alpena-Amberley had a noticeable Dutch accent - longer vowels, th's substituted with d's, and some words that started with vowels changing or losing them entirely - nd or und instead of and, eets in place of its, and so on. It wasn't so bad as to be hard to understand, but it could be jarring on first listen. Especially compared to his oldest brother, who despite his broken voice, had only the whisper of an accent. The middle Bloodmyer brother? Well, that would have been another story entirely. Recks, still living in their motherland, well...listening to his English could be difficult.
Oh oops, more rambling!
It was perhaps odd that neither Steins or Hierapolis had yet introduced Alpena-Amberley to Cybele, despite having told him that they knew one another, and was even considered a good friend by Steins, but such was the way life went sometimes. Sometimes things got in the way, so things as they were, Alpena-Amberly didn't know yet that he was meeting
the Cybele. Although, he would have given the same warm and friendly greeting all the same.
