This series has some pretty interesting, exaggerated and gritty art. It's also extremely violent and sexual, somewhere between horror, sci-fi, fantasy, and just plain disturbing. The story is a little confusing and it switches characters a lot, but it's engaging and the characters are all very different. All of the main character designs are very cool.
Personally, I find the exaggerated bodies and (overly) voluptuous characters interesting and a little refreshing compared to a lot of the uber-sweet, super happy fun time stuff that seems to be popular.
A lot of the more gratuitous stuff is arguably unnecessary, but let's be honest: that's why we read things like this. Anyone could argue that anything is unnecessary, ultimately.
Anyway, does anybody else read it?
