Events are forum-wide things that anyone is allowed to participate in -- Desis, lurkers, and avatar characters alike -- mostly for fun and socialization than anything else. There will most likely be small prizes handed out here.
Missions are Desi-only mini-events that, like the name suggests, requires that whoever it is assigned to make a post in the journal/house of their character RPing through the mission. The missions (similar to the missions system in Naruto or Final Fantasy Tactics Advance if any of you are familiar with these things) will range from easy to hard and from weeding a garden to assassination. Missions will be arranged in levels and there will be requirements to reach each level. Rewards are usually something along the lines of IC gold, items of any sort, stat boosts, and probably fame.
Quests are the Desi-only events that are required to reach the next stage in growth, and will be doled out as is seen necessary in the individual journals. If you believe that you are overdue for a quest or have a particular request for the nature of the quest, you are free to PM butterflyedge or post here.
