One of the major shops lining the huge, circular cobblestone path around the Oblivion Temple is the Smithy -- the primary place in the village to buy and repair weapons.
Samples of the work are hung up on the wooden walls of the plainly adorned, open-air building, ranging from the simple dagger to elaborately detailed scythes. These are the first things you see when you walk in. The first thing you'll most likely notice, however, is the constant heat.
To the left is a square wooden counter, a simple curtain separating the business area from the firehearths of the back, the actual heart of the smithy. Ocasionally there's someone at the counter, waiting to serve you -- but more often than not, all available workers (Apprentices and master alike) are busy in the back. A bell has been placed on the counter should you need to get someone's attention.
