[Map coming soon]

Desiderium is a relatively elaborately designed but small village. It resembles a rather mismatched quilt of cultures and styles, as even the building designs and flora differ from area to area.

There are nine main areas. The most noticeable feature is the silent, murky river running through the center of the village and cutting straight through the center of the Oblivion Temple. The name of this river has been lost to time. It is safe for swimming and fish are occasionally found in it.

Oblivion owns a small plot of land in the center of the village, on which the temple (and a few smaller shrines surrounding it) was constructed. The surroundings there are mainly ancient and nearly depressing, and you could almost say that it all nearly looked grayscale.

Lux and Nox surround the temple of Oblivion in a circular structure, each one residing in half of the circle with two towers on either side of the circle dividing the territory. Lux has buildings made of shining white marble, somewhat resembling the structures of Ancient Rome. Nox, on the other hand, is a lot less unified -- though the main structures seem to be vaguely Gothic in nature and made from some shining black material (obsidian, maybe?), the members of this clan pretty much live in whatever kind of houses they want.

The so-called Neutral Grounds -- that is, territory not staked or claimed by any of the clans -- surrounds the circle of Lux and Nox in a wide cobblestone circle. It spreads out to divide each of the territores of the other four clans among their middles, which forms a vague star shape. Many shops can be found here, as can the school, and this territory usually serves as the primary location for various festivals and events. There are many things of interest on the cobblestone streets of the Neutral Grounds -- a large, elaborately carved fountain serves as a handy landmark for those wanting to rendez-vous.

Finally are the vague Borders that surround Desiderium. On the west, mountains can be seen; on the east, there is a large beach and ocean; to the south is a forest, and to the north is a desert. However, no matter how far you strike into the distance, you never seem to be able to leave Desiderium. The river that flows through the village cascades off a sharp edge into Oblivion, proving how isolated the little village is -- only the water may leave it into the rest of Aliapaer.

To get to Gaia, one must only follow the river south into the forest. You will eventually reach a barrier that, stepping through, leads you to an area west of Barton Town.
