In a way, The White Assassin was bored. Sitting in the back of the bar, he swirled his cup of liquid around, watching the contents inside swirl. Of course, he was drinking water, but no one else needed to know that.
He let out a sigh, tilting his head back and downing the rest. It would be a long night.

"Aye, whattya mean I gotta pay me tab!?" came the harsh voice of a pirate. Her tongue was scornful, lips curled in an intimidating frown, eyebrows furrowed deep into her sparkling green eyes. "Captains don't pay no tabs, ye dinky s**t!"
With a snort, she slammed her mug onto the counter, ale sloshing out the sides as she whirled in the seat, hopping off. Her eyes intense and angered, she delved into her pocket, galleons of a miniscule amount spilling onto the floor. "Damned friggin' pennies.."

He was amused. Far more than he should have been, but... hey. Reaching into his own pouch, he grabbed a handful of coins and sent them rolling on the counter carelessly; he had thrown them in the bartender's direction, smirking.
"Keep the change."
Getting the hint, the bartender stiffened, and then bowed hastily. "Y-yes... YESSIR!" He skittered back to cleaning.

She quirked a brow expressively, tugging her corsair down a bit lower. "Aye, what's yer problem, buddy? Spittin' out coins for a pirate, pah! Now I know whota come to when I'm out," she snickered, rolling her eyes and padding over to the strangely-clad man. "Aye, what's yer name, ye milky snick?" she questioned, seating herself on the chair beside him. She clanked and jingled and clattered with each step and motion, her glorious, shiny accessories catching the lights.

He set his glass down, and looked at her, straight in the eyes. "They call me The White Assassin. Or White for short." He moved his hand in a sweeping motion, and all the people in the room cringed. "They all know me here..." He frowned slightly, looking down. "What about you...?" His voice was cool, and calm. He seemed slightly... earthy?

"Aye, the name's Neska. But the lot o' me crew calls me Cap'n Lady. I'm not much of a land-goer, y'see... I could navigate the goddamn seas like the back o' me hand, but I'm dead on land," she commented with a wide, toothy grin. For a pirate, she was hygenic. Her skin was dark, a reddened-tan hue, almost ruddy; sea-tanned, obviously. Looking her opposer up and down, she cracked another grin. "Nice t' meetcha, White."

The grey runes on his white clothing were attractive; but what stood out most was the black highlights in his stark white hair. "Neska... that sounds... cold. Like snow." He murmured aloud, thinking on it. His eyes smiled at her, but his face was stoic.

"Cold, does it, lad? Well, yer readin' me off; I stand high heats, landlubber. Ye couldnae guess the worst of it," came her retort, though ever-grinning. She didn't appear one to hide her emotions, quite the contrast to the apathetic assassin before her. "Aye, so, whattdya use t' kill?" Her question was simply to hold off an awkward silence.

"If I told you that, I'd have to kill you," He replied smoothly, smirking at her, and then laughing a few moments after. He really did find her amusing; she was easy to talk to... and one of the first that wasn't afraid of him.

"Aye, lad, ye coudnae kill me easily, Mister Narcissist!" she snorted with a smirk. Her fingers instinctively slid to her sheath at her side, rolling over the cool, slick surface of her saber. "Aye, I don' go to easy..."
Pulling off her hat, she slid a bandana from her pocket, wrapping it around her head and tapping the counter. As the waiter approached, she cleared her throat and spoke in an eloquent tone; sweet as honey, "I'd like a cup of ale, please, sir. Put it on my tab." Snickering as he walked off, she tugged the hat back down with a grin. "Gullible bastards."

"Fortunately for you... I'm here. They're smarter than you think." Giving a grin, he stood up, glancing around at all of the scared eyes in the room, though they didn't act it. A frown graced his features.
"You're welcome to stay here and drink. Tab's on me." It seemed he was honest, and bowing his head, he took his leave, walking out almost proudly. The door shut behind him, and one could swear that all the people in the room sighed.
"You know, they say he killed an entire room full of people," One man murmured to the pirate, cocking an eye at her. "You might wanna stay away from that one, lass."

As she neared him, she called out with a harsh tone, "Where th' 'ell do ya think you're going, lad?"

He turned, his eyes dancing. "If I told you that, I'd have to kill you." He let out a small chuckle, and walked over to her, bending down a little so he could look at her eye to eye. "Why do you want to know...?"
