"What is it Ikari?"

"You remember you told me about how great grandma Bulma set out to find the dragonballs and met Son Goku and so on and on?" Ikari took a sip of her can of coke. Looking down at a picture of her grandfather standing with The Z team.

Trunks nodded. "What of it?"

"Well what happened to the Sons?" Ikari asked, how helping her grandfather take of his shoes. "I mean, you didn't speak about anything after Son Goku left after E-Shenron."

"That's because we don't know..." her grandfather suddenly looked very upset.

"Don't know..? Oh my! Grandfather are they-?"

Trunks barked out a laugh, "No, no, they're not missing, actually I'm sure they're still at Mount Pau. But one day, we've just not been in contact."

"And the dragonballs?"

"Scattered, my child. Scattered. They returned a while-"

"Yes, yes, grandfather I know; Dende made a new batch before he suddenly dissapeared and Piccollo was once again forced to take over the duty of Kame. You've told me-"

"A million times."

They smiled at each other before Trunks gave a cough. "Well you'd best get to bed Ikari."

"Goodnight Grandfather." said Ikari exiting, the can of coke in her hands.

"And wash that down with water."

"Yes Grandfather."

The way she said "Grandfather" made Trunks smile. "Goodnight Ikari."
