I didn't take the ring from Omeluum for most of my playthroughs, but then my partner reassured me it ends up a-okay if I take it, so I tried taking it once and it was fine. I still try to avoid taking it though.

I always reject the worm. I do not trust it lol.
My partner has embraced it a few times though, but I just... can't. I'm always annoyed that there isn't any sort of story device that acknowledges you didn't gobble it though.
I was toying around with making a Tav that's just an eccentric scientist of a wizard though, who kinda has a YOLO attitude toward their own mortality when it comes to experiments. Could fit it into that run!

I did that in my first playthrough and the chaos in the Society meetinghouse was wiiild.
That's a cool mod though! Jealous.

I ADORE Omeluum and Blurg; I always squeal "MY UNCLES!!" in delight in a new playthrough when I find them.
I like to think that if I was Tav, my post-game activities would include running errands for them as an adventuring side gig, haha.
