The guild I want to try and create are for english speakers learning to speak Japanese.
Already fluent speakers are free to join if they want to help us learn.
I want to see if this sort of topic will get popular.
If lots of people seem interested then Ill start raising money to start an official guild!

Rules!

1. Must be seriously trying to learn Japanese
2. No spam, hate posts, stretching of page...ect.
3. Bumps aloud when needed
4. Other topics aloud relating to Japan (culture, anime ect.)
5. After saying something in Japanese put translation. Example: Nihongo ga sukii desu! [I love Japanese!]
6. Be nice to everyone!
7. Only need to say you want to join and introduce yourself. No PM needed, but not hated.
8. If you speak Kansai-ben please not only put the english traslation but put it in general Japanese as well. General is more useful since every Japanese person knows it even the ones speaking Kansai-ben, yet the Japanese that speak general Japanese don't understand kansai-ben.
9. If your fluent and want to be labled as a "language helper" do tell.

Hello! I am taking Japanese at Niagara College. I took Japanese 1 last term and got a whapping 99%, and now I'm taking Japanese 2! This term my presentation is on locations tourists should visit in Japan. That will be interesting. Last term I did it on Giasha.

i took four years of HS japanese but i have forgot some. i am starting at the college level next fall.

I would like to join.. I am currently enrolled in two Japanese classes this semester but will not be able to continue learning the language as I will be shifting to a new course that will not credit my Japanese classes. sad Since I have some interest in Japanese culture (and Japanese people seem to be visiting my country more often nowadays) I don't want my knowledge of the Japanese language to die.

Hey, cool...count me in. I had wanted to take Japanese, but they don't offer it at my school. My friends and I are trying to learn it the hard way--before we take our senior trip to Tokyo and Kyoto.
